*BEFORE THE MISSION*
I was getting everything ready for the mission I was about to go on
"come on (n/n) why can't I go with you" I let a small giggle out as I listen to Powder wine "because wildflower it's dangerous we're heading up to the topside I don't want you to get caught up there or get injured up there neither does Vi so you have to stay here" powder has been calling me (n/n) since we were little kids it's a nickname for me I called her wildflower sense it fit her pretty well I mean she's beautiful like a flower and she's wild as they come "I still don't see why I'm 10 I can take care of myself" I raise an eyebrow as I just looked at her "really now so what I'm hearing is you don't need to hide behind me when we get into fights anymore right" she jumped out of the bed holding onto my arm "nope I still need you for that" I started to laugh as I push some of her hair out of her face
"I love you wildflower I really do but please promise me you won't follow us and actually stay here" she was giving me a pound as a kissed her forehead "fine I'll stay here I won't follow you guys" I gave her a small smile as I grabbed her hand heading upstairs "good now little man should be upstairs to keep you company plus I told him not to let you out of his sight until we're fall enough away" she was still giving me a pout as I made it upstairs seeing little engineer at the bar
"hey little engineer how are you doing" I got on one of the stores as I ruffled his hair he started to laugh as he swiped my hand away "i'm doing good (e/n) how about you" I smiled as I got down from the store letting wildflower take my place "doing good do you know where everyone else's is"
before he could respond someone tap me on my shoulder "you ready to go (y/n)" I turned my head slightly seeing Claggor "yep let's get going before Vander gets out of the kitchen" Vi and Mylo was already by the door waiting for me
"then come on we don't need to get caught" Vi pushed open the door heading outside I turn my head slightly to wave goodbye to Powder and Ekko

"aw man" I heard Mylo grown as he missed placed his hand almost slipping but luckily he was able to staple hisself we were scaling the wall to get on top of one of the roofs to get to the topside
"come on boys this is good exercise you both need it" I was a little bit above Mylo and Claggor "easy for you to say we're not all flexible like you are" Claggor ground "or have your energy" I stuck on my tongue at Mylo and Claggor
I reached out one of my hans to Mylo "just take my hand I'll pull you up" he looked at me suspicious but took my hand anyway I pulled him up letting him take a hold of where my hand was as I moved to a different area "you just need to find the right places it could help you get up faster" I looked up as I heard Vi voice "we're almost there" a smile appeared on my face as we finish climbing getting up
Vi was the first one on the roof "hey guys come take a look" I grabbed the edge of the building throwing my self up I quickly turned around though and held out my hand to help Claggor he took my hand without hesitation as I pulled him up helping him get on the roof I then did the same thing for Mylo making sure he wouldn't fall
We have some of these moments where we're sweet to one another a lot of times it's when wildflower isn't here since I'm always focus on protecting her and standing by her side even when Mylo makes fun of her I do everything I can to defend her but when she isn't on these missions we have a good time I'm not saying I don't like her being on missions with us I enjoy it it's fun with her but since I can put down my guard a little bit not always having to look after her I can have a bit more fun and help the boys out more
We all went to standby Vi looking around seeing the beautiful city "it's nice getting above it all huh" I stretch my arms above my head as I let out a small grown "it is specially the fresh air it's nice I wish wildflower could see this" I felt Vi put a hand on my shoulder making me look at "I do agree with you with that one but it was the best decision to leave her at home it's dangerous up here maybe when she gets a little bit older then we can bring her up here" I gave Vi a smile
mine and Vi's relationship is weird you could say normally were fighting one another or not getting along but when it comes to Powder or Ekko's safety we're both on the same page wanting to protect those two no matter what we both agreed that this mission was a little bit too much for Powder since we never been here before it was best she stayed home and cover for us since we don't want anything to go wrong and her get in the middle of it
I looked up as a blimp went over our heads "you know wildflower told me that she would love to ride in those one day" Mylo made a finger gun pointing at the blimp "and one day I'm gonna shoot one of em down" a smile across my face as Vi put Mylo hand down "sure thing Mylo after we get you some better shooting lessons" he gave me a look just saying ' my shooting is fine'
