After dinner I took her to the loading deck where the air ships are I knew that she always wanted to ride in one of them she's been telling me about it ever since we were kids so I thought why not make it reality for our anniversary
"(n/n) what are we doing here" I gave her a smile as I just kept walking not answering her question until we got to one of the ships "ah miss Moon right on time" I could tell she was confused as the captain of the ship stood aside "you remember how you always wanted to ride in an airship" I gave her a smile as she looks surprised as I stepped foot on the ramp to get on the ship "well my dear that dream is becoming a reality" she just smiled as she took my hand following me up on the ship "how did you plan all this anyways like" I just smiled as we stood on the deck as the ship started to takeoff "Mylo help me out a bunch you remember that day I got home early you know the one where I said I'll be heading to the underground for a little bit to do my boxing match with Vi and then I had to go to the council" she nodded her head as the ship took off "I kind of lied I didn't have a council meeting that day instead me and Mylo spent the day getting everything ready for our anniversary you know helping me get a reservation at the restaurant help me get the whole entire airship to ourselves other than the crew and he's the one that got me the flowers this morning for you and the outfits" she looks surprised
"you didn't have to do all this you know" I just took her hand as I looked at her "I know but I wanted to I wanted today to be perfect you could say and Mylo has been helping me plan this out whenever I did have time off from the council or he'll just come on my lunch breaks to help me plan this" I was just looking at her metering her beauty as she was looking down at Piltover it made me smile just looking at her seeing her so happy
I looked up seeing the sun was in the right place I took in a deep breath as I took both of her hands "(n/n) it's everything all right" I just gave her smile as I shook my head "yeah everything's fine my dear it's just I haven't given you a present yet for our anniversary I wanted it to wait until now to be honest" I could tell she was confused as I just nodded my head at one of the crewmates telling him to turn on the record I gave him "do you remember this song my dear" I could tell that she was so confused until the slowest song started in "this is the first song we ever dance to when we were kids Vander put it on the jukebox when he was closing the bar one night I like the way it sounded so I started to dance to it and you joined me" I just smiled as I moved one of her hands to rest on my shoulder has I put my hand on her waist then started to slightly dance with her "yeah I think the gift I have for you can wait after this song don't you" she just smiled as she rest head on my chest as I hold her close "yeah and if anything this is the best gift you just being here with me"
We both just danced to the song that was on I did keep an eye on the sky more pacifically on the setting sun as we danced I was keeping an eye out at the corner of my eyes so she couldn't tell I was spinning her around one last time as the song came to an end as I dipped her we were both just smiling has the ship went silent all you could hear was the motor
"I wish I could frame this moment for eternity" I giving her a kiss as she wrapped her arms around my neck I got her to stand on her own two feet as we just looked at each other "if you look the sky is very beautiful right now" she turned her head slightly to see what I was talking about some of the crowds was blocking the sun but not enough the sky was a beautiful pinkish orange going into a dark blue as the moon rose up
I took in a deep breath as I got down on one of my knees "(n/n) you're right the sky is" she looked back at me seeing me on one of my knees as I held one of her hands "i'm not gonna lie Powder I'm so happy that we met the first time I saw you I felt an instant connection with you I don't know why I still don't but I'm glad I did I'm glad that we spent time together that we grew up I know we were separated for so long and when I saw you again I feel complete like everything that was wrong or that was missing just fell back into place when I saw you I want you to be a part of my life forever" I looked her in the eyes to see the shock surprised and the happiness in her eyes "I can't imagine my life without you well I guess I kind of had to live my life without you for a while but after I got your back I don't want you to leave I don't wanna leave I feel like everything just feels right with you like everything it's gonna be ok no matter what I do or what anyone says the moment I see you I feel like I'm making the right decision" I took another deep breath as I pulled out a black velvet box for my pocket "I know we haven't been dating long only for a year now but I know for certain I want you in my life not just as my best friend and not just as my girlfriend anymore but as my wife I want to call you mine every day I want to know that no matter what you stay next to me I guess you do stand next to me already I'm so happy for that but" I looked her in the eyes seeing tears running down her face "what I'm trying to get at is.... Powder will you marry me"
I could tell that she was looking at the ring then at me I knew just by looking at her that she was happy and I knew the next word that was going to come out of her mouth "yes" it made me smile hearing that words "yes yes fuck yes" I put the ring box on the deck as she started to shake I immediately picked her up and started to twirl her around I put her down on her own two feet after I was done spinning her and kissed again once we both pulled away I just looked her in the eyes I could tell that she was trying to figure out how long I've been planning this I made the ring box flowed up grabbing it with one of my hands I took the ring out and slipped it on her ring finger it made me smile as I lift her head up and give it a little kiss she started to laugh as she did the same for me slipping the other ring that was in the box on my finger we are both just smiling as we just hold each other close

We were both just laughing as we made our way back home as I knew something was waiting for us there she was still trying to figure out how long have I been planning this I wasn't giving her an answer I took in a deep breath as I open the door letting her go in first
"CONGRATULATION" I I started to laugh as Powder had a surprise look on her face seeing Vi Caitlyn Mylo Claggor Ekko and Hugo here "how did... did you all know" she looked at me and then at everyone else as Vi came to give her a hug "yeah we did (y/n) ask for my permission the last time she was in the underground we were in a middle of a fight will a boxing match when she asked me that I was surprised to say the least but happy" Powder looked at me as Mylo stood by my side "yeah (y/n) here was planning this for about a month now of course I helped her with it while she was busy with a council I was getting the reservations getting pictures of different rings that we thought you would like so we wouldn't arouse sufficient with anyone" I wrapped my arm around my brother giving him a hug "yeah Mylo helped a lot during this he was actually the first person to know" we both just started to laugh as Hugo hit me on the back of the "yeah me Caitlyn and Ekko just found out today I want to see about an hour ago what she was planning" I just started to laugh as I went to go wrap my arms around my fiancé "we wanted to congratulate you guys tonight then tomorrow sense Vander's throwing a huge party at the last drop for you two so we wanted to say congratulations before anyone else" I looked at all of them giving them a smile "thanks you all for the help and everything else" they just smiled as I held wildflower close to me
After a while of us just talking and playing a few rounds of card games they decided that it was time to leave and let me and my new fiancé have some alone time together
Which I had to say was pretty fun I know we won't get a break until I want to say the wedding and since that's a huge thing we have to plan now but hey as long as she's here with me I don't mind
