When we got to the edge of the bridge we saw Miss Grayson with some enforce her back was to us so she couldn't see us walking

"well I guess we got back here in time huh" she turned around to see us "guess you did kid and I see you found the little pup" I gave her a smile as we stopped right in front of her "yeah we did sorry that we didn't come here sooner there was some problems" she looked at me confused as I put my son down " you see war was about to break out I want to say I really don't know how to put it but there was a problem down here I'd resolved it that's what took us so long I know it wasn't part of the deal but it was better that I did resolve that problem then we have to deal with the consequences up here but I was able to resolve it but not all the way yet" she looked a little confused as Caitlyn patted my shoulder "i'll explain everything to them you get this little one back home" I gave her a smile as I took my son's hand "oh that reminds me Moon Mel wants to see you it's important she told me that when we found you if you come up here to tell you to get her ASAP so get home get changed in your uniform then go to the palace because she just says she needs to see you" I nodded my head as I started to make my way to the dorms "will do"

After I got to the dorms I noticed that no one else was here which made sense they're probably at the lab "all right buddy you stay here I'm gonna go get changed and I'm trusting you to stay here alone all right you know what you can and can't do" he put his hands behind his back as he gave me a smile "ok mama" I gave him a sweet smile back as I went into the bathroom and got changed in my uniform

"all right I'm saying this one last time do not leave the dorm and don't open the door for anyone else I already put the moon charm outside the window you know what you can and can't do I'm trusting you" I got down on one of my knees to look him in the eyes "I got it mama don't worry you should get going though it sounded important what Mel had to talk to you about" ruffled his hair as I gave him a kiss on the forehead

I made sure that I lock the apartment door since I knew Jayce and Victor had keys on them to get in

When I got the palace I knocked on the door to be met with Mel's assistant "hey miss Mel said she wanted to see me" she open the door all the way allowing me to enter "yes I'll take you to her right away come with me" I followed  Elora to a room in the palace

She open the door allow me to go in as she open the door I saw Mel pacing back-and-forth

"hey I know it's been a while but what's going on everything couldn't have gone to shit when I left could it" she stopped in her tracks and looked at me as the door closed behind me "thanks the stars you're here" I gave her a confused look as I went over to her "yeah sorry I would've been here sooner but there was a problem in the undercity I had to take care of fir-" she waved her hands in front of me to stop me from talking "doesn't matter right now we have a different problem at hand" I looked at her confused as the door opened up catching my attention "Mel who is this"

I turned around to be met with a muscular woman she had brown skin like Mel gray hair still some black with red and black armor on

"hello there madame my name is Moon may I know who you are" I put on my kind voice again as she walked closer to us "I'm Ambessa Medarda Mel's mother i'm a warlord of Noxus" I remember reading about her "oh will it's a pleasure to finally meet you I read some books on you when I was younger" I gave her a kind smile as she stopped in front of us "I see anyway Mel why is she here" I turned to look back at Mel still wondering the same thing "mother Moon here works with Jayce and Victor she's the one I told you about that absorbed the magic from hextech when she was younger" I looked at Ambessa as she spoke "really now so you're the girl I've been hearing all about the one that survived the explosion when she was 11 that can take any hit or any injury and survive Piltover's best weapon" I only smiled as I spoke "I wouldn't say best weapon I'm only a scientist I'm not trained in combat other than the experience I have gained" she just looked at me "really so you defeating every enforce they thrown at you having the best course run in the entire academy for enforces not to mention the best one with her instinct" I only smiled "Moon isn't a weapon mother she's a human but yes she has broken most of the record she's very talented we are lucky that Jayce and Victor persuade us to keep her" she looked at Mel confused "keep her what do you mean by that what was gonna happen to her"

I gave her a smile as I answered her question "you see Madame I'm from the undercity so most likely I would've gone to South water for breaking in entering for stealing and for property damage but my caretakers Jayce and Victor decided it would be best to keep me to see what they can learn from me" she looked me up and down "I see how is she supposed to help then" I was still confused as I turned it to Mel "i'm sorry but you haven't explain to me why you needed me here yet i'm still confused why I'm here" Mel turned her attention to me as she finally explain "you see Moon Piltover is on the break of war my mother here informed me that someone is coming here after me my brother pissed off the wrong man when he was alive my mothers thinking that he'll come here next I wanted to see if you could help your magic will it be able to put a barricade around the place" I shook my head no "i'm sorry Miss Mel but I can't do that I can't make a force field that big plus I don't know how long will need that I can see if me Jayce and Victor can create something for a force field but I can't create that big of a one without risking my life" she gave me a nod with a smile "that's all right I wanted to talk to you about it an-"

Before she could finish her mother interrupted "this is ridiculous you're willing to put everyone's life's at risk just to save your own" I looked over at her confused "i'm sorry what" I sent her a glare as she crushed her arm "you heard me or are you afraid do you value your life over everyone else and Mel I told you that defense isn't gonna work you need to fight" I put my hand in front Mel to stop her from talking "you wanna know something woman I do put my life first except for those people that I hold over my own life my son for example I'm sorry that you lost a kid to some guy but risking more life are you insane what is with me dealing with insane people I mean not too long ago I had to stop someone from the undercity from causing a war here so maybe you should shut your trap for once and actually listen to yourself talk think about your plans through you might be a warlord and everything and you may love war that's your first option but it isn't here I've learned it's not for Piltover's style" I stood up probably as I walked past the woman "now if you excuse me I have to go talk with my friend to see if we could figure something out to help defend this place until then good day"

As I was walking by her she put her hand on my shoulder to stop me "now you listen" I was already tired of this woman I grabbed her hand and flipped her over my shoulder sending her in shock "you really don't know when to give up do you" she just looked at me surprised "how are you that strong" I only smiled as I put my hands behind my back "you can thank my family for that I'm part of the moon clan"
