AU#1 what happened Jinx/Powder x Reader

Chapter 16

Instead of heading back to the hospital room where I've been staying I went with the two people that want me to be their lab rat we went to one of their rooms the one that gave me the clothes I guess we really couldn't go to the other one since it's kind of blew up

"all right kid I guess we should start by introducing ourselves" I sat on his desk "why should I give either one of you my name" the one that gave me the clothes just shook his head as the other one reached out his hand to me "come on kid don't be rude I'm Jayce" I didn't want to shake his hand "you don't have anything to be afraid of kid I'm not gonna hurt you" I looked at him up and down but just turned my head to look at the other guy "the name is Victor" I only nodded my head as I pushed myself off of the dask heading over to stand by the chalkboard "all right you're not getting my name though you can just call me whatever you want I'm not comfortable with giving you my name" I seen Victor give me a nod "that's all right kid we'll wait until you're ready but we are having a meeting with the council tomorrow and knowing them you will probably have to give them your name" I looked at him for a split second but then just looked away

"so what are we doing how are you going to prove this or keep me with you if anything" Jayce came up behind me putting his hand on my shoulder "it's pretty simple kid basically we're just going to tell them about what hextech can do but you on the other hand I'm not so sure" I move my shoulder knocking his hand off "I guess the best thing that we could do kid is have you show them some magic abilities proving that we can learn from you" I looked at Victor thinking about his idea

"that's the thing I don't know what I can do I mean when I got kind of angry I guess I made a force field but that knocked me out" Victor went to go sit down as I went to go lean on the dask again "I see well we can spend tonight thinking of what to say and also what you can do without you passing out" I looked down at my arm remembering the old wounds I got and the new ones but none are there

"I have a question do you have anything sharp" both looked at me in fear "don't worry I just wanna texts something I think it has something to do with the magic I just wanna test it you can supervise me or you could do it yourself either or" they both looked at each other as Victor pointed over to the cabinet drawer "Jayce in the cabinet they are so knifes grab one I normally don't use them so they should be sharp they were a gift from Heimerdinger for my new apartment a lot of them aren't even out of the packaging give her one and we can see what she wants to do with it" Jayce looked at Victor for a second but then went over to the cabinet drawer to grab one "next question I have is Who the fuck is Heimerdinger I don't know any of their names the only person I know the name of his Miss Grayson the head enforce now I just know your guys names now but that's it" Victor shook his head as Jayce handed me a small knife

"seems like we're gonna have to go over the counselors names and who they are" Victor got up to go grab some stuff as I put a knife on my arm "kid what are you doing exactly" I looked up at Jayce smiling as I dubbed the knife into my arm making it bleed I remove the knife and set it on the counter "i'll go get some band-aids" he was about to leave before I grabbed his wrist "no need I'm testing something" he looked at me like I was insane but a blue light came from my arm it only took a second but it was patching up the wound once it was done it didn't even leave a scar or bruising "interesting I was wondering I had more scars on me plus not to mention what that explosion did but when I unwrapped my arms and legs I had nothing on me seems like these crystals will heal my body without leaving anything behind"

Jayce grabbed my arm with a smile on his face "Victor the hextech can heal it healed her without any problem" I took my arm back as Victor handed me some flashcards "interesting I wonder if it could do it on it's own or if she can heal other people" I looked at the flights cards confused until Victor explained them "ok kid on these flashcards are the counselors pictures, names and who they are we're gonna have to go over them since you don't know them it will be easier to know their names and who they are then just calling them by nicknames or pointing at them" I looked up at him giving him a slight nod "all right while she's doing that we can go over our speech of what we want to say after that though we need to see what more she can do"

Jayce sounded very happy as I went over to the other desk in the room I sat down on the chair going over the flashcards as I listen to them in the background

It's been a couple of hours and I was still going over the flash cards as I was listening to them stumble on some words of not knowing what to actually say I was getting bored I looked around the room to look for anything to do other than just read these flashcards 1000 times over my eyes landed on some papers for a gizmo a smile creeped on my face as I held out my hand I focus my energy and was able to lift the paper up "neat now all I have to do is" I stuck out my tongue a little bit as I focus more bringing the papers over to me some

"and it can also- HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT" I lost focus as I drop the papers looking at Jayce and Victor "I got bored and I wanted to see what else I could do" you could hear the nervous laughter escape my voice as Jayce went over to pick up the papers "so she can make stuff go to her I mean it does make sense seeing how the hextech basically made us float up in the middle of the air" Victor ruffled my hair with a smile "way to go kid can't blame you that you're getting bored though how about instead of just reading the flashcards and us trying to get a speech together we focus on what you can do and keep you out of the prison how about that instead" I got out of the chair as I gave him a slight nod "fine I can also help with the speech I think because you two are awful at it"
