when the next day arrived I decided I was sleeping in since I haven't in a while and I was running off of spite coffee anything to really keep my ass up I knew Powder wouldn't mind since she just snuggled up next to me after she seen me still in bed what did wake me though was hearing our door cracked open
I open my eyes some to look over seeing moonshine standing there "how many times have I told people it's rude to stare" he jumped a little bit not really expect me to be awake I guess "sorry mama" I just shook my head as I sat up and held open my arms telling him to come here "so what brings you here normally you're not up until like I want to say an hour from now I don't even know what time it is" he laughed nervously as he just laid his head on my chest "mama it's 11:am I thought that you would be gone normally you leave at like seven" I looked over at the alarm clock to see the time "apparently it is I guess I needed that rest" I laid back down as I put my son between me and wildflower "we can sleep a little bit longer like I said I have nothing planned for this week other than for mine and wildflowers anniversary but other than that I'm home" he snuggled up between the two of us as I laid back down it took me a while to actually fall back asleep but after a few minutes I was able to sleep

The next time I woke up I looked around not seeing Wildflower or Moonshine I looked at the clock to see that it was at 1:pm already I sat up in the bed as I ran my hand through my hair "guess I slept in later than I expect" I threw the covers off me as I made my way downstairs not bother getting dressed
When I got downstairs I saw my darling sitting on the couch tampering with one of her bombs as moonshine was somewhere else in the house a smile grew on my face as I snuck up behind Wildflower and wrap my arms around her neck "well look who finally decided to wake up" she gave me a kiss on the cheek as I just laughed a little "yeah I guess I really needed to sleep in" I laid my head on her shoulder as she just padded the side of my head "I know you didn't even hear me or Zepher wake up but to be fair you were waking up around six and five in the morning to get everything ready from me and our son for the day plus you coming home around 11 to midnight we thought that you would enjoy sleeping in for once" I let out a small grown as I just buried my head into the crook of her neck making her laugh "don't remind me" it made me smile hearing her laugh again it's been a while
"I miss that laugh I also miss hearing your sweet voice" I gave her a kiss on the neck as I stood up "I miss you to my love" I smiled at the nickname as I went to the kitchen "have you and Moonshine got anything to eat yet" she stood up from the couch and following me in the kitchen "no we haven't I didn't want to cause a fire" I let out a small chuckle as I pull some stuff out to make us some lunch "all right then I'll start making something to eat how about" I started to think of something I can make to eat for them when moonshine came running in the kitchen "steak" I looked at my son with a smile as I shook my head "all right then steak it is" he started the cheer as he ran back out of the kitchen
"how did he even hear us" I started to laugh as I gave Wildflower a quick kiss "he's a werewolf my dear he has an impeccable hearing that and smell but I still don't know why he doesn't take a shower if he knows he stinks" wildflower started to laugh as I could hear my son grown as he ran back in the kitchen "mama can we not do this again" I just crossed my arms as I looked at him "moonshine I love you and all but go take a shower" he was going to fight me on it before wildflower intervened "come on if you take a shower without complaining will let you" wildflower looked at me to help her out a little "if you go take a shower then i'll let you stay up for a little bit longer past your bedtime but that's only if you go take a shower" his eyes started to sparkle as he immediately ran upstairs to go take a shower
"i'm so going to regret that later aren't I" Wildflower just started to laugh "maybe but hey at least he's getting clean" I nodded my head as I turn back to the stove pulling out a pan olive oil and the other stuff I need for the steaks as wildflower pulled out the steaks from the fridge so I could start cooking

After we all finish eating and did the dishes Moonshine went outside to go play with some of the other kids around here as me and Powder just stay together inside just relaxing on the couch she was showing me some of her other inventions that she made while I was gone that could help which I was happy about I wanted to spend as much time as I could with her and with our son since I will have this week off i'm planning on doing something with them just as a family no interruptions but for now my only plan is for our anniversary I know that Vi is keeping moonshine with her so me and Powder could get some time alone which is great i'm just hoping that my plan goes well
