After I got back in my uniform I left to go to where the speech is I did have my glove on and the bracelet that Zoe gave me of course I did have my family jewelry on as well since I never take those off
"hey sorry i'm late" Victor was sitting down "you're good kid you're actually" he stopped before he continued looking behind me "well look who's here where were you" I looked behind me seeing Jayce "they were asking if I could do the address" Jayce just smile "you should come up with me and (y/n) we are partners after all" Jayce wrapped his arm around Victor "no no not in front of all of them..." I rolled my eyes as I pushed himself "come on Vic please" he looked at me shaking his head no "i'm fine you two go up plus I have to be here to lift the lever" I looked at him crossing my arms "I can do that from up there with my magic don't tell me you got stage fright" he started to shake his head "maybe a little anyways Jayce you have your speech prepared" Jayce only responded with a uh-huh I rolled my eyes as I stepped forward to standby Jayce
"An inspiration to Piltover's future" I looked over at sky as she handed Jayce his speech as Caitlyn's mother spoke "and that of all humanity please join me in welcoming to the state..." I hit Jayce in the side as I leaned into whisper "come on wonder boy don't get nervous now you've been bragging about this for weeks" he only rolled his eyes as he took a step forward"Jayce Tali's and (y/n) Moon" we both tend to our sides to look at Victor "guess it's time" Jayce took a sip of his coffee as I took a step forward "let's hope this goes well" we could already hear the crowd clapping for us
Me and Jayce both went on the stage at the same time me a little bit behind him he raised up his hand to wave at the crowd as I did a shy wave I have never been in front of this many people before I could see right in the front was the council and Miss Grayson the only people I couldn't see was Caitlyn and Zepher which caught my attention
Caitlin's mother gave us both a smile as she gave us the platform once we got to the platform Jayce stood right behind it as I stood beside him "uh good evening" a lot of people were still clapping "I know many of you probably didn't expect to see us here today" he gestured to both of us "and believe us we're just as shocked as you" I nodded my head in agreeing with him "my family and I are simple people in our factory we made hammers they were probably used to cut the stones you're standing on right now no one in my life expected very much of me" he looked over at me making eye contact smiling "well nobody but Moon and ny partner Victor but that is pacifically what makes this moment so extraordinary"
I gave him a smile as he pointed to the hexgates "a few years ago the hexgates open their poets to the world made Piltover prosper beyond anything we could've ever imagined and what Moon is capable of with her magic" he pointed out to the crowd as I spun around creating a circle I hit my foot in the middle of the circle making little orbs of energy go around the whole place again the please interrupted in cheer as some people trying to catch the little balls of energy
"but.. we're not done yet" music started to play signaling that it was time I looked over at him seeing him a piece of paper "this year we've created something new for you" I looked forward with a smile on my face getting ready to use my magic to summon the crystal to me after Victor lift the curtain "something that... um.." I looked over at Jayce as he started to stumble on his woods "that we will share with you..." I lifted my hand up to pat his arm telling him it was ok "when the time is right" I could hear the crowds disappointment but I was more focused on Jayce he's hesitant "things that will bring an end to your hardship" I stepped back as he stepped forward leaving his speech behind "whether you're the scion our high houses or an honest laborer from the underground we vowed to keep pressing forward for we are the city of progress and our future is bright"
Right when the fireworks were going off I mans more of my crystals to go around the room to make different shapes like animals clouds different stuff like that with the fireworks

After Jayce was finally done waving to everyone we went back down
"what was that you froze up" I looked at him confused as he just kept walking "it wasn't the right time yet it didn't feel like the right time it's still kind of dangerous" I looked at Victor confused "Jayce we have put that thing through multiple test it's completely safe" Victor and I were both confused as Jayce just keep avoid our question
I decided it wasn't worth my time to keep going back-and-forth with Jayce instead I went out side to see if I could find Caitlyn and Zepher
I found Caitlyn with a bunch of other enforce I didn't care what they were talking about as I went to go talk with Caitlyn
"Caitlyn hey" I ran down the stairs to stand in front of her "oh hey is everything all right" I looked around her not seeing my son "umm is Zepher with you" she looked at me confused as she shook her head no "he told me that he was going to go backstage with you and Victor" my eyes went wide as I shook my head "he wasn't backstage he wasn't even in the crowd he wouldn't go to the crowd" I started to freak out as Caitlyn put her hands on my shoulders "it's all right we'll find him let's start looking he couldn't have gone far could he" I started to think "not in his human form but in his wolf form yes he could go far where would he go" I started to freak out more as Caitlyn yell
"WE NEED TO START LOOK FOR ZEPHER NOW"
all the enforcer started to run looking around for him as Miss Grayson came out "wow what's going on" I looked at her panicked "Zepher he's missing we don't know where he could've gone" her eyes went wide as she started to run "split up I'll get more enforce to help look for him and see if anyone saw him" I nodded my head as I started to run yelling his name to try and find him
The only thought that was on my mind is 'where could he have gone'
