I was sitting on my bed reading a book as Powder came running in "(N/N)" she jumped on the bed tackling me "hey wildflower what's up" I ran my fingers through her hair as she just smiled at me "i'm bored I want to do something" I shook my head as I sat up "will what do you want to do" she put her head on my shoulder as she started pounding "I don't know Vi left with Mylo and Claggor Vander went to Benzo and Ekko is to busy working" I started to laugh "well how about we go grab something to eat and head to our secret hideout" she jumped up grabbing my hands to drag me out of the bed "yes" I only shook my head as I went to go put on my shoes

After we were finished getting something to eat we went to our hideout I pulled back the curtain and flipping the light on so we could see it was how we left it my books are organized in the little hole in the wall some blankets and pillows around the place for a comfortable place to sit there was fairy lights hanging from the roof where we normally sit there was writing it also had my family symbol on the wall next to our names

I smiled as I sat down "so" I saw Powder over at my bookcase pulling out some books she then came to cuddle up next to me with the books laid out "can you read to me again" I smiled as I wrap my arm around her and picked up one of the books "of course I believe we left off in this one last"

After a while she put the book down that I was holding I looked at her confused as she just sat on my lap and putting her head on my shoulder "you're sleepy already" she nodded her head as I just checked I lay down holding her close to me "all right I think we can get some sleep here and head back home later" she only mumbled her yeah signaling to me that she was already half asleep I run my hand through her hair as I started to feel sleepy myself

Once we both woke up we decided to head back to the last drop we were just talking as we went down to where we stay I looked around noticing that no one was here yet
"I guess they're probably doing something else" I just shrug my shoulders as I sat on the couch "(y/n) can I braid your hair" I turn my back to her as she sat down on the couch "go ahead" I could tell that she was excited as she grabbed the brush and what she needed

"You see I always kept my hair long because of her she always love to braid it to play with it she just enjoyed it you know" I look down at my son as he snuggled up closer to me "so this is the shortest it's ever been in years" I gave him a smile as I ran my hands through my hair "yeah I guess I think I'm gonna keep it this way though I quite like it" he smiled up at me as I continued with the store

After she was done braiding my hair we decided to head back up to grab a drink she didn't let go of my hand the entire time that we were together Vander gave us our drink as we went back downstairs I grab the deck of cards from the drawer and sat them on the table
"you sure you wanna go against me again" she kept nodding her head repeatedly "yep I know you enjoy it you love playing cards so why not" I gave her smile as I shuffle the cards the way Savita taught me "so what game do you wanna play" she thought about it for a moment "how about 21 since it's the easiest for me to understand but do you mind going over it again" I smiled as I put the deck down in front of us "all right normally it takes three people once is the dealer then the two people going again each other but I think we can make do with just the two of us the goal of the game is to get to 21 or have a higher number than your opponent the ace card can either be used as a one or a ten if you get higher than 21 you're out like I said your goal is to have a higher number than your opponent say if I have a 13 and you have 11 I would win but if I go over 21 say I get 22 and you only have 15 you would win I went over the number" she nodded her head repeatedly "all right got it" with that I handed her two cards as I grabbed two as well "then let's play"

"It was actually quite funny playing those games with her she sucked at them but she always played them because of me she loves seeing me happy and I love seeing her happy she meant the world to me I still love her to this day that's crazy but hey I don't care" I looked down beside me to see Zepher already half asleep "all right buddy time to get you in bed" I picked him up and hold him close as I went back through the window to get to our room
I close the door behind me as I put Zepher in his bed I was about to walk away before I heard his voice "I love you mama" I turned my head slightly smiling at my son "I love you too my moonshine sleep well" I turned off the nightlight that was in the room and went to go crawl in bed I laid in bed for a moment with a smile on my face remembering all the fun times I had with them
