I was leaning against Hugo basically using his body for heat again as Zoe and Zero was arguing about something when all of the sudden I got tackled luckily Hugo was able to catch me so I didn't fall
"(n/n)" I looked behind me a little bit to see wildflowers in her dress "Mel was right you look good at that" I wrap my arms around her as I looked at everyone else "you all look good now why don't we get going" everyone gave me a nod as Zoe snapped her fingers teleporting us right outside the door
"Zoe what did I say" I had to keep wildflower standing up as everyone lead against the wall that wasn't used to teleport "whoops kind of forgot but who cares let's go" she just open the doors running in as I shook my head "is everyone all right" I looked around making sure that my family was ok "yeah we're be fine just wasn't expecting that" I gave them a sample nod as I helped Wildflower stand on her own two feet "all right let's head in" I took in a deep breath as we walked in seeing everyone already mingling talking or waiting around
"I see you all finally arrived" I looked over to my left to see Mel "yes sorry were a little bit late" she shook her head as she looked at everyone "not at all and it's a pleasure to meet you all I heard a lot about you from Moon" I rubbed the back of my neck as I could felt their eyes on me "I hope good things" I looked at my brother as I stick out my tongue as he did the same "she did she will only tell us good stories about you all" I looked back at Mel as I clapped my hands "well why don't we get started" she gave me a simple nod as she took a glass and a small golden spoon and hit them together
"IF I CAN GET EVERYONES ATTENTION" the music died down as people stop talking dancing and looked over to us "I WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT MOON OUR EIGHT SEAT ON THE COUNCIL AND MISS CAITLYN KIRAMMAN OUR NEW HEAD ENFORCE ARE HERE" me and Caitlyn took a step forward so we were in front of everyone we gave them all a little bow as everyone in the room started to cheer and clap for us
"so how do you think you're going to do" Caitlyn's voice was only a whisper so I was the only one that heard her "I hope good I'm a little nervous but hey let's see how this plays out for both of us" she gave me a small nod as we started to walk around the room being congratulated and just talking with people as everyone else that we came in with just stay to their own little groups

After a few hours what basically felt like an eternity though I was able to get away from most of the crowd and relax on the balcony I just let out a breath of air feeling the déjà vu to the party on progress day all over again
"what is someone so beautiful doing out here all alone" I turned my head slightly to see wildflower "getting away from the people asking me questions or asking me to do magic tricks" I started to laugh as she stood beside me "I see so you're escaping everyone in the room" I gave her a small grin as I wrap my arm around her waist "kind of wouldn't mind if it was just me and you though" she snuggled up next to me as we just stood there just taking in the silence even though we could hear the music and people talking from inside it felt nice being out here with her
"There you two are hope you're not getting up to anything" we both turn our heads at the voice to see Vi Mylo and Claggor "hey you three" Mylo stood next to me as Vi stood next to powder while Claggor stood next to Mylo "so how have you all been holding up at this party" I looked at all of them as they just leaned on the railing "it's boring how do you deal with this stuff" I let out a slight chuckle as we listen to Mylo complain "I don't really know I just let my mind wander and I don't think I'm here trust me I think almost everyone hates the parties"
"so do you have any plans for tomorrow" I looked over at Vi as I thought about her question "yeah I do have a plan tomorrow it's going to be difficult though but hey it's something I need to do" I can feel their eyes on me as I pushed myself off the railing letting go of wildflowers waste "let's just enjoy tonight though you know we can go dancing have fun if the party gets to boring which I know it will I think I can ask Mel and Miss Grayson if we can head to the firing range or go to a training ground you have our own little fun" they all gave me a smile as they agreed and followed me back inside "so wildflower do you wanna dance I think the next song is a slow dance" she just grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor making me laugh
In the middle of the slowdowns I saw Hugo and Ekko dancing with each other which made me smile other than them we both saw Vi and Caitlyn basically Caitlyn trying to teach Vi how to slow dance which made both of us laugh
"you know this is nice holding you like this and feeling like we're the only two here" I spun her around as I look deep in her eyes "it does doesn't it" I lean down some as the song started to come to an end "I love you wildflower more than you could ever know" she moved her hand up to cup my face "I love you too (n/n)" our lips connected as the song ended it honestly felt like we were the only two here she was the only thing I was focusing on once we pulled away though we heard people clapping I looked around remembering that we were in a room full of people "I told you I didn't mind being caught kissing you" she just started to laugh and she gave me another kiss "yeah I know"

After a while we all started to get bored and decided to actually go to the trading ground which was even more fun
Mylo and Hugo got in an a fight somehow and was just tackling each other to the ground Zero and Claggor was just talking about different recipes that they could use for cooking as Vi was teaching Caitlyn how to fight with her beer fest Zoe and Ekko was cheering on the fight as me and wildflower just state next to each other just spending time with one another I know I've been busy tomorrow and the next week so I want to spend as much time as I can with her now since I know I won't be able to for another week
Vander and Silco decided to stay at the party to discuss matters with the rest of the council as Sevkia came along with us to supervise us even those she is sitting on the bench drinking so it's more of us watching her then her watching us
