Chapter 35

Me and Hugo just been laughing and talking getting to know one another he was actually a great guy we just been mostly talking about our time here and different shit we went through and telling jokes

"you know I'm surprise you never made me sit with you guys" I looked at him confused "what do you mean made I can't make you do anything" he put his shot glass down as he laid down on the couch "sure you could all you had to say is I'm the leader of the group so" I looked at him confused as I put my glass down "what do you mean leader" he propped himself on his elbows "you don't know you're the leader of the group" I shook my head no as he started laughing "oh my didn't they tell you their supposed to tell all the leaders did they just forget" he started to laugh even more as I was just left in confusion "nobody told me" he got up from the couch and went to go put the alcohol way "I guess they kind of just assumed that you knew because you're from Piltover and you wanted to be in charge but you had no clue that you are leader I guess that why you haven't picked a second in command" I got up some stretching as I went to help him "I guess so but no I have no clue I don't even know what I'm supposed to be doing I am not really a good leader" I started to grab the trash from the snacks and the dirty glasses "I guess that does make sense why we haven't had any team bonding activities"

He took the dirty glasses from me as I threw away the trash "yeah you seem like you know what you're doing though" I heard him let out a chuckle "yeah I guess I do anyways" I sent him a smile "so would you like to be my second in command then" he gave me a smug look as he basically bowed "why of course" we both burst out laughing "well I should head back to my room come sit with us tomorrow that's way everyone else can get to know you and then we can start talking about a team bonding activity" I could tell he was thinking about my offer "will do but this whole drinking shit stays between us or the team are we will get in trouble especially you with the council" I sent him one last smile as I waved goodbye at him heading out the door

I put my arms above my head stretching I looked at the clock on the wall to see it was already midnight I just shrug my shoulders as I went back to my room

when I was heading up the stairs I heard running I turned around to see moonshine he looks scared "hey there little one what's going on" he seemed surprised to see me but just ran to me hug my leg "I can't sleep" I sent him a quick smile as I picked him up "did you have a nightmare" I started to walk up the stairs as he just nodded "all right then guess you're staying with me tonight" he starting to nod his head repeatedly has I went up the stairs caring him

I shut my door behind me as I put moonshine in the bed "you get comfortable I'm gonna go get changed in the bathroom" I seen he out of the corner of my eye he was already underneath the covers

I quickly put on my pajamas brush my teeth and did everything else I needed to do before I go to bed

I let out a exhausted yawn as I got underneath the covers moonshine cuddled up next to me he was already fast asleep it made me smile remembering all the times me and wildflower would cuddled it actually made me wonder how have they been of course that's on my mind always but I guess talking about them again with Hugo and me being a little fucking drunk made me actually think about how they're doing how much I must've hurt them I shook my head as I close my eyes trying to get some sleep

When the morning rolled around I started to open my eyes as I heard running outside my room the door than bust open to review Zero and Zoe running in "time to wake up" they both jumped on the bed making me laugh waking up moonshine as well "hey there little buddy" Zoe padded moonshine's head as Zero basically started to shake me "i'm up I'm up geez" I put my hand to my head having a headache "come on get out of bed we don't need you falling back asleep" I only rolled my eyes as I heard chuckling by the door

we all looked to see Hugo "well is this what we're gonna be waking up to every morning what a bunch of idiot" he raised eyebrows his as I just got out of bed "ha ha very funny Hugo" he just shook his head as he handed me a water bottle and some painkillers "trust me I already down about five water bottles and four painkillers I think you might want these" I took them without hesitation

"thanks now if you don't mind I need to get dressed so do you little moonshine Zero take him downstairs and make sure he gets ready and doesn't fall asleep" Zero picked up moonshine giving him a piggyback ride as he ran out the door heading downstairs "Zoe you and Hugo head downstairs and get us a table" she gave me a nod as Hugo just padded my shoulder "we'll see you downstairs now come on" Zoe scoot off the bed and went outside with Hugo I could hear them talking I was glad he is finally warming up to everyone

I shut my door as I got a change of clothes I went into the bathroom to get ready knowing that we're going to have a lot planned for today
