Chapter 22

It's been a couple of hours since I met Caitlyn i've actually lost track of the time but it's been fun she even let me use her gun she had a rifle she was impressed that I haven't missed a shot

But that was a while ago right now we're just telling each other stories I told her that I'm from the undercity and she's very interested in it to be honest she wanted to know what life is like down there so I was telling her everything I could remember

"you're kidding you have to be kidding" she was a laughing mess as I was telling her some stories of what happened "no I'm not there was flour everywhere it was so funny the person that took care of us our dad even joined in at a point sure I had to clean it up but it was funny" we both sat there laughing just having a good time

"Kid are you out here" I recognize that voice to be Victors "we're over here" I got a up brushing off my clothes as I help Caitlyn up "good it's time to get going" I grab my bow and arrow putting them on me and make my way over to Victor "i'll hope to see you again moon" I gave her a smile "yeah it was fun talking to you"

Me and Victor made our way back to the airship on the way back he was asking me questions I didn't mind answering them he was just asking how was my time what did I do and how did I get along with Caitlyn basically he was just checking up on me

It's been a couple of months since I met Caitlyn and it's been pretty fun to say the least she was actually pretty fun to hang out with and we hang out a lot it was actually nice having someone I could talk about my time in the undercity Caitlyn actually wanted to know more about it how life was like down there she wants to help the people down there like me Victor and Jayce do I told her the best way she can help is if she becomes an enforcer like she's planning she can be a lot easier on them and don't judge them just by how they look I told her about all the times that enforcer just came down there to beat one of us up or accuse us for something we didn't do Caitlyn frlt bad knowing that when we have that much going on I even told her about some of the food shortages and the toxic water how we don't really get proper medicine down there she felt bad she vowed to me that she would try her best and help fix those situation

I trust this girl surprisingly I don't trust her all the way but I trust her enough sure it will take me a lot longer to give her my full trust but for now I can at least call her a friend or an acquaintance but friends seem to fit her more

Right now Jayce was taking me to go meet the Kiramman Family he had to talk with Caitlyn's mother and father about something he doesn't know that me and Caitlyn has been hanging out we basically keep it on the down low of course we don't mean to it's just whenever we do hang out it's at a training ground

We finally arrived at their house "all right kid please be on your best behavior they have a daughter so yeah I think you two would get along" he fix his outfit as he knocked on the door after a few seconds a man opened up the door he look like Caitlyn the only difference is his hair is lighter i'm assuming that this was her father "Jayce it's a pleasure to see you again and I'm assuming this is moon with you" he gave me a kind smile "it's good to see you too and yes this is moon we don't know her actual name so we all just been calling her moon" he sept a side letting us in

We followed the strange man over to the living room where I saw both Caitlyn and her mother I had my hands in my pocket as Caitlyn got up "hey moon do you wanna go out to the garden with me" I just shrug my shoulders as I made my way over to her "sure thing Cait" I looked behind me a little giving Jayce a smile "you two already met" he was pointing between us as I gave him a nod "Yeah we met at the party a couple months ago" Caitlyn sounded happy "that's good to hear hey moon quick question do you use her gun you know you're not allowed to" I rolled my eyes as Caitlyn answered for me "no she didn't she only used her bow and arrow" I looked at Caitlyn for a moment surprised but just smiled "if that's all we're going to head to the garden"

I didn't let him reply as I just started to walk off Caitlyn join me and lead me out to the garden

"thanks for lying back there for me" in all honesty I was surprised that she lied for me because Caitlyn has let me use her gun multiple times "it's no problem we're friends after all aren't we moon" I gave her nod as I took a deep breath "(y/n)" She looked at me confused "my name my actual name is (y/n)" she looked at me surprised but smiled "well it's a pleasure to finally know your name" she bought my shoulder with hers making me smile again "yeah just don't tell other people I don't want my name going out yet" she gave me a smile as we both sat on a bench "no problem your secret is safe with me"
