AU#1 what happened Jinx/Powder x Reader

 chapter 9

When we went inside we were met with a workshop different gadgets on the table it was kind of messy Vi walk forward some more she drop the bag in the middle of the floor as she went over to the bookcase we all split up heading to different areas to start filling the bag

"you know Claggor for once you're right" I turned to look at Mylo not believing what he "we are definitely not supposed to be here" a small smile grow on my face "never thought I would hear you amid it that someone else was right" I gave he a sly grin as he just rolled his eyes "quit playing you two" we both looked at Vi as I went over to the desk to help Mylo

"you know you're more fun when Powder isn't around" I rolled my eyes as a grab something tossing it up in the air "we've been over this Mylo she's a kid you can't keep making fun of her that's one of the reasons why she didn't come on this mission she's young we didn't want her getting injured" we both went over to the bag to throw the stuff in "I know I know you and Vi are always on my case with that but I'm just saying it's easier to play around with you without her here you're not so uptight" he bumped my shoulder with his making me smile "I guess you're right but you can't blame me there I just want to make sure she say safe plus you know the pressure I'm under to keep her safe" he nodded his head as I went over to the bookcase

I looked over to the chalkboard where Vi was "must be an inventor" I look back at the book case "you're right Vi but judging by a lot of the stuff I want to say they're not a full-fledged one yet maybe in training" she gave me a quick look "you might be right there but who knows" I looked at the bookcase seeing a book sticking out I bet the inside of my mouth as I turned my head quickly to look at Mylo since I was here in clicking "that's a nose hair trimmer don't even try it also don't put it in the bag it's not worth anything" he shrugged his shoulders as he started to plug the hair from his nose making me roll my eyes looking back at the bookcase

I decided to pull on the book healing clicking noise I looked at the side of the bookcase to see that the frame was opened up on the side it wasn't much just like a square inside of it was two necklaces

one that was silver and one that was bronze I picked up the silver one I look closely at it seeing the black circle in the middle it didn't look like just a regular crystal I put it up to my eye to see a illusion there was different words but I can only make out three

I pulled it away from my eye noticing the card at the bottom I picked it up and read it

I smiled to myself as I thought that Powder would love this "what do you got there" I look to my Left to see Vi standing over my shoulder "two necklaces in the middle where the black circle is it's 100 different languages to say I love you I'm thinking of giving one to wildflower I normally do that on our missions take something for her since she can't be on them that much" Vi give me a nod as I picked up the card wrapping the silver necklace around it "here" I held it out for Vi to take "why are you giving it to me" I shrugged my shoulders as I picked up the bronze one shoving that in my pocket "thought you might want to give that one to wildflower yourself you know put up the illusion that you found them gave me one and then give your sister one to give her the illusion that you actually like me and I'm not some tool for you"

Vi looked shocked she was about to say something before she got interrupted "um.. guys" we made our way over to the desk to see what Mylo found "wait Vi how the hell did we find this place" Claggor had a point Vi never told us how she found it "it was a tip from little man" I immediately caught Mylo's hand as he tried to touch something on the gizmo "Little man" me and Mylo both look at Vi surprised "just leave it come on"

I shoved my hands in my pocket as I looked around the room I thought for a moment as I went by the bookcases to the archway I seen a door leading to a different room "i'll be back I'm going to check out the other room see if there's anything in there" Mylo and Claggor gave me a thumbs up as Vi didn't even look at me

I went over to the other room to see it was a bedroom "will this place is messy" I kept the door wide open as I started to look around the room there wasn't much I noticed a type of guitar sitting by the bed some books scattered around the place papers everywhere it kind of remind me of when we left Mylo and Claggor at the last drop by themselves for a day we came back to the place a wreck I started to look at blueprints some of the books nothing really special

I looked over at the other desk seeing some food I shook my head as I made my way over to that desk I didn't touch the food since I don't know what's in it second I really don't need to eat right now I'm not that hungry I picked up the blue print that was propped up when I moved it I saw a type of chest thing

"what do we have here" I rolled up the piece of paper looking at the chess seeing if I could open it

it looked too heavy for me to carry and it was too big to put in the bag I was touching the signs until I heard clicking "bingo"
