AU#1 what happened Jinx/Powder x Reader

Chapter 8

"Vi are you sure about this" we all walked to the side of the building to get to a lower roof as we listen to Claggor being worried again "look if we get caught we're" but before he could finish Vi cut him off "we're not gonna get caught" Vi was the first one down then Claggor next was me then Mylo "we'll be in and out before anyone notices"

We walked to the side of the building where we had to jump to get to a different rooftop "all right everyone follow me just don't look down" before Vi jumped down she hit my arm "you coming with me or are you gonna wait for everyone" I smiled at her "i'm with you but I'm doing a different then you guys"

I made my way over to the other side of the building to get a running start  I noticed that Vi was already gone signaling that she was already making he rway across I got in a running position taking a deep breath then let it out I quickly ran across the rooftop once I got to the edge I jumped I put my arms in front of my face as I landed on the roof I rolled once then did a handstand catching myself

me and Vi both landed on the building at the same time we looked back to see Claggor getting ready to go but Mylo stopped him and went first he grabbed the edge of the roof then slid down grabbing the balcony roof he landed on the railing he put himself off the railing but kept his arms on it once he was fully turned around he jumped making it over to the building I was too busy watching Mylo that I didn't notice Claggor going right after him until he landed he had a cupcake in his mouth

"couldn't we have at least just walk there" I rolled my eyes as Claggor ask his question as I went over to help Mylo stand on his own two feet "got to stay out of sight for this one" after I pull Mylo up I went over to help Claggor "you know we can't be seen I mean we're on the topside we're not really supposed to be here"

We all started to walk again to get to the building we were on an edge of the building "what if Vander finds out we're all the way up here" I knew that Claggor worries a lot so this wasn't unusual "look around you do you think anyone topside's going hungry besides this is exactly the sort of job Vander wound've pulled when he was our age" we were above some balconies Vi knew which one we had to go down "plus wildflowers is covering for us" I knew the look I was getting from Mylo but I decided to ignore it "I'm going are you with me or not"  Claggor looked back at me and Mylo to see if you're with Vi I gave him a nod telling him I'm with her as Mylo gave him a look "Vander's going to killer us"

"yeah only if we screw up" Vi gave us a serious look "so don't screw up" with that she grabbed the edge of the building and threw herself off throwing herself on the balcony I shook my head as we waited for her cue telling us to come down

"all clear"

me and Mylo went down at the same time he stood on the railing as I threw myself on the balcony Mylo went to turn the door knob "who locks their balcony" he sounded annoyed as he pulled out his lock picker to start picking the lock "people that don't want to get robbed Mylo" he looked at me for a split second letting out a little laugh "very funny (y/n)"

I was trying not to do my habit normally when I get bored or if I'm just standing around I would lean on something it's a habit I picked up I was try not to lean on the railing or by the door to get in Mylo's why

"whew there's tons of enforcers down there" I looked over the railing seeing what Claggor was talking about "means we're in the right place" Claggor patted me on the shoulder knowing that I was having trouble not doing my habit "here you can lean on me until we can get the door open" I gave him a smile as I leaned on him

he knew about my habit and he would let me do this here and there we have a good relationship we're friends sometimes when he sees me struggling with some of my habits basically I would lean on something or if I get nervous he'll just pat me on the shoulder and let me do what I normally do normally it's just I need to lean on the wall or something but if we're in a open area and I can't do that he'll let me lean on him or when I get nervous I'll sit beside him and he lets me look over his shoulder to read the book with him

"you're going to get the door open anytime soon" we all look to the door as Vi asked her question "working on it seeing as I'm the only one who knows how to pick a lock I
suggest-" before he could finish Vi went over kicking the door open breaking the lock making Mylo dropped his tool

Claggor hit him in the back of the head as I went over to him patting him on the shoulder and picked up his tool to hand it to him "animals" he seen me holding the tool in front of him "thanks little sis" it was only a whisper but I heard it he took the tool from me as he got up

you see mine and Mylo's relationship is different from the rest even though we don't act like it a lot of times we have similarities of being siblings not like everyone else we mostly have the same behavior it might not show up a lot of time since he's more carefree and I'm more cautious but we have our moments where we act like bio siblings a lot of people had actually mistake us for bio siblings even though we might not look the same just basing on how we act with one another

we always have each other's back's even though we're fighting we can easily turn the fire around if someone insult me and Mylo is next to me he'll defend me and same thing goes for him I'll protect him

Vander thinks it's funny since were just relaxing or having fun with one another we're just torture each other sometimes like siblings do we have our fights and arguments but deep down we care for each other we have actually had to catch ourselves from calling each other sis and bro in front of others but when it's just us we don't care that's just how it is with me and Mylo
