"Ethan, bumangon ka na. Maya-maya lang ay susunduin na tayo ng mag-asawa." Hinalikan ko ang pisngi niya bago ako nagtungo sa vanity table. "May gamot sa bedside table.."
"What time is it, baby?" His deep and husky voice stopped me from doing my makeup.
"It's already six in the morning." Kasabay nang pagpatuloy ko sa ginagawa ay ang pagbangon ni Ethan. Sinuot niya ang boxers niya at lumapit sa akin upang humalik sa tuktok ng ulo ko. I brushed his messy hair with my fingers. "May masakit ba sa 'yo?"
"My abdomen..." Natawa ako sa sagot niya.
"I offered to help you-"
"You know that you're not going to help, you'll just make it worse." I looked at him through the mirror. "Why did you shower alone?"
"You were sleeping peacefully! I didn't want to ruin your sleep-" I paused when he stood up straight, revealing his hard-on. "B-but now... you have to..."
"To what?" He raised a brow while stifling a smile. "Your lips look extra sexy today. Wanna help me?"
Hanggang sa sunduin kami ng mag-asawa ay masakit pa rin ang aking panga. Nakapuntos nanaman ang isa. Malapad ang ngiti ni Ethan hanggang sa makarating kami sa N Seoul Tower. It was already afternoon when we got there dahil may dinaanan pa kaming iba.
Nang makaakyat kami sa tower ay para kaming nabuhayan. Tanaw mula sa kinaroroonan namin ang city na nasa ibaba. Nagulat ako nang lingunin ko si Ethan. Nakatutok sa akin ang DSLR camera niya. Napanguso tuloy ako at sa huli'y nag-pose rin.
Pagkatapos namin sa observatory ay dumiretso kami sa Hanbok Culture Experience Center. Ang mag-asawang sina Ryan at Seo-ah ay nirentahan ang wedding attires. Kami naman ni Ethan ay pinili ang traditional. We took some photos together. Naisip ko tuloy na gumawa ng album para sa memories namin ni Ethan.
"After having our dinner, we will go to the love locks. Did you guys enjoy?"
"Yeah, I did. I always enjoy when I'm with her." Ethan rested his hand on my thigh.
"I enjoyed too. Ang ganda pala rito. If given a chance, I would go back here. Maganda siguro rito mag-propose 'no?" pagpaparinig ko kay Ethan. Mukhang nakuha agad 'yon ni Ryan at tumawa siya.
"Ethan... Alam mo na," tumatawang ani Ryan. Nakitawa rin si Ethan at napailing nalang.
When we finished our dinner, we went straight to the love locks. I wrote "One day, I will be a Hernandez." on my padlock. Ethan wrote "I will make her a Hernandez.. soon." on his padlock.
Ryan told us to throw away the keys of our padlocks. We took some pictures there before we decided to stroll around the area. Ethan held my hand when he noticed that I was already feeling cold. We stopped by the bridge with the lover's locks. We noticed that the couple wasn't with us anymore.
"Nasa'n na ba 'yung mag-asawa?" tanong ko kay Ethan. Ngumiti lang siya sa akin at umiling. "Bakit? Iniwan na ba tayo?"
"Ayaw mo ba na tayo lang?"
"Hindi naman.. Okay rin 'to. Tayo lang," nakangiting tugon ko.
"Qamari, are you ready to marry me?" Nawala ang ngiti ko sa tanong ni Ethan. "I'm not pressuring you... I just want to know because-"
"I've always been ready to marry you, Ethan." He pulled out something from his pocket after I finished my sentence. "What's that?"
"Earlier.. I told Ryan to give us some time alone. Because I wanted this to be about us... I want you to be comfortable and not be pressured. Aia, I know this may sound weird but I was ready to marry you the first night that we met. I want you to know that marrying me won't fix my family's wrongdoings. Marrying me is not about me, being a Hernandez, but being the man who loves you more than anything. Qamari Xaia Garcia, the first woman who taught me what true love is... I know you want to be a Hernandez and I promise to make you one..." He stopped for a minute to dry my tears. "Now before I make you one, I want you to find the eight padlocks that I've put there. They all look like this."
He showed me a picture of a padlock before letting me find those. I was crying while finding those locks. I knew it was part of his proposal! I felt so excited as I found them one by one. I looked at Ethan when I found the last one.
"Do you still want to be a Hernandez? Because I still want to make you a Hernandez. I want to build my own Hernandez family with you." I rushed towards him and hugged his neck. I felt him slowly hugging my waist.
"I'm marrying Ethan Jake Hernandez, not the Hernandez clan. I want to be your own Hernandez, Ethan... I want to marry you.." I distanced myself a bit and smiled genuinely. "You don't know how long I've waited for this time to finally come.."
"Let's spend the next days, weeks, months, and years of our lives together, Aia. I love you." I automatically closed my eyes when he slowly put his lips on mine.
"Congrats!" Ethan groaned in annoyance when he heard Ryan's voice. I laughed at that and turned to Ryan. "Ethan was so nervous pa kanina. I told you, bro, she will accept it! My wife told me that she saw something in her eyes and it was love."
"I don't want to be rude but you have to shut up, you know?" Ryan just laughed at Ethan's words. "Thanks for bringing us here by the way. You guys are invited sa wedding namin."
I took a picture of Ethan's side profile while he was sleeping. My hand with the most beautiful rings I've ever seen was shown. I was holding Ethan's jaw. I have two rings now, the butterfly ring and the engagement ring which is a heart-shaped diamond ring.
I posted it with a caption "Sleeping after giving your fiancée a rough night, huh? 🤭" Nanguna sa comment section sina Clara at Pia. As expected, nagkalat nanaman si Clara.

Natawa nalang ako sa comments ng mga kaibigan. Nilingon ko ulit ang fiancé ko. Nakagat ko ang labi ko nang maalala ko ulit kung paano siya nag-propose sa akin. Si Ethan lang ang lalaking pinangarap kong pakasalan. Kung hindi man kami ang nakatadhana, gagawin ko ang lahat para sa huli ay kami pa rin ang magkasama.
