"You tired?" Aia nodded lazily. "Let's stay here then. I'll just inform my secretary that I'll skip work today." I reached for my phone to inform Janette, my secretary.

"You have a new secretary? I mean, of course you have a new secretary na." Signs of jealousy...

"Yeah, I hired a new secretary. I didn't want to but I had to. Having a secretary makes my work easier-" A knock cut my words off. "Come in."

"The door's open?" Of course, it was. It's not like I'm hiding a secret.

I glanced at my woman and caught her glaring at my secretary. I was right, she's jealous. God, I felt loved all of a sudden.

"Janette, I'll skip work today-"

"Sir, you have an important meeting today with the Leimors. And also, I am here to inform you that there's a problem in the hospital. The directors called for an emergency meeting-"

"Tell them that I can't go. I have my priorities too. You go there and represent me."

I would spend the rest of the day with Aia, and only Aia. Maraming taon na ang nasayang at wala sa mga plano ko na nadagdagan pa iyon.

"Yeah.. I couldn't understand. Why did he pursue me if he knew all along that those things could happen? We could've been happy until now... If only we stayed as friends. Why do men enter someone's peaceful life and eventually leave them broken?" I sat up to hug Aia. Clyde's love isn't for her. "Love isn't for an innocent girl like me."

"Just cry, I'll be here. Just talk, I'll listen. You deserve the love that stays and grows, not the one that fades out and pushes you to give up after a little while."

Kakahatid ko lang kay Qamari nang may tumawag sa 'kin. It was call saying that Clyde fooled Qamari's mother and us... I knew it would hurt Aia but I couldn't just smile at her and act like I don't know anything. That's why I immediately chose to defend her.

I went to Hernandez hospital when the directors called for a meeting. I knew it was about the issue of my family. I was bound to take over the company but I was planning to hand it over to my younger brother, Edward. Unfortunately, he refused, saying that he left the Hernandez clan a long time ago. I respected that and took what should be ours.

I walked past David, a doctor in Hernandez hospital. Madalas ko siyang makita na umaaligid kay Zelena. Siguro may gusto siya sa kaibigan ko. Well, he doesn't have a chance because my friend is madly in love with an attorney. Guess she doesn't like boys who work on the same field. I smiled at the nurses and staff who greeted me. I'm feeling different today, it's like I'm a different person.

"N-nang dahil sa 'yo!" Qamari's mother hit me multiple times. I didn't move, I let her. "Nagdusa kami ng mga anak ko dahil sa 'yo! Sinabi sa 'kin ni Diana na katawan lang ang habol mo sa anak ko! Isa ka talagang Hernandez... Pare-pareho kayo! Mga manggagamit at mamamatay-tao! P-pamilya mo ang dahilan kung ba't nawalan ng tatay ang mga anak ko!"

"Nay, 'wag naman ganito-"

"Ang mga Hernandez ang dahilan kung ba't namatay ang tatay n'yo.." She stopped what she was doing and looked at Qamari. "Ginamit lang nila ang mga ideya ng tatay mo para sa mga proyekto nila. H-hindi rin nagtagal, k-kaunti na ang sinasahod niya... Nakipag-usap siya nang maayos sa mga Hernandez pero hindi siya pinakinggan. Nang pumasok ang tatay mo sa ibang kumpanya, nagalit sila...
