Tetsuya Nigō Drabbles Part 1

Day 76 - Just like before

Sometimes they all got together to play a few games. His favourite human and the other colourful haired humans.

(Minus Kagami, even though his hair was as bright as the other boys'. Why?)

Anyway, when this happened Tetsuya could meet and play with his friends, too - Yoshi, Senshi and Hissori. Sometimes, they too played a game or two with the orange ball. Not so seriously though, they kept their best tricks for official matches.

Meanwhile the humans were also chasing an orange ball of their own, often changing teams. Sometimes they had a lot of fun, sometimes they talked a lot and tried different tactics. So that was something like a meeting for them.

The Generation of Miracles.

They had kept something like a tradition after Kuroko's birthday. From time to time, in a few weeks time, they all got together on the same court in that park, training or exchanging tactics, moves, tips for their next opponents. It was nice, just like before. When they all loved basketball and weren't tied to the victory, their very first days.

Yes, eventually they were going to face off again but there was still time till that. No need to worry. For now.

The puppies seemed to enjoy these little play dates too, even if there were still some fights between Tetsuya and Hissori.

All in all, Kuroko enjoyed these meetings. They really reminded him of his Teiko days, when he stayed behind everyday, training more than everyone else. Eventually Aomine joining in, too. Their love for basketball. The moments when they all were happy, even if they were rare.

This was really nice. Kuroko was really happy that they could always somehow organise and meet up. Yes, maybe Akashi's words were a big factor, telling the others that they could actually learn something from Kuroko and these meetings in general, but the blue-eyed boy liked to think that the others actually had as much fun as he did.

If the smiles on their faces were any indication anyway.
