The match, even if it didn't really matter since both teams were continuing on forward, was difficult. No one wanted to just give the match to the other team.

So the fight was big. But the first basket went for Yosen since they also won the ball from the beginning. Still, this didn't damper Seirin's mood. They went all out and scored twice in a row, even if Murasakibara was guarding the opponent's basket.

But when Kuroko attempted to shoot his ex team mate stopped him without a problem. He knew the trick now, too. From then on the blue-eyed boy decided to just stay in the shadows and pass the ball, observing Murasakibara's plays. So Kagami had to find a way both around him and Tatsuya.

But then Teppei came around to help, somehow managing to move faster than Murasakibara or just using his right of postponement. So for a few minutes Kagami had to worry only about Tatsuya. Tatsuya, whose movements were even more fluid than before. Which meant even more hard to keep up with. But Kagami got into the Zone, quickly shutting down his friend and gaining a little lead for Seirin.

In the second half though Yosen managed to even the score again, creating more problems for Seirin. Murasakibara also attempted three pointers. True, they didn't always go in but when there were three of his teammates to catch the rebound, Teppei didn't have much of a chance. Kagami jumped to stop Murasakibara but that was difficult since the boy was like four meters tall when he jumped seriously. And if he wasn't sure in his shot, Murasakibara passed the ball to Tatsuya. After a few tries Izuki and Kuroko finally stopped him with their Eagle eye and little presence.

But the damage was done, Yosen was in the lead. The guys in purple really wanted to even out the score for last year's tournament.

After a quick timeout for Seirin though, the team was up and running with new found energy. The guys' fighting spirit still surprised everyone. Hyuga started shooting more of his three pointers, taking the attention from the other guys. Then suddenly Kagami and Izuki also started trying for three pointers even if their success rate was not so good either. But the surprise element was enough to confuse Yosen's defense. They never knew which of the three would try for a three pointer now so needed more time to react.

This left their inside with less defense although Murasakibara was still there. But Kuroko and Teppei were there, too. Whenever Kuroko got the ball he got in a shooting position, luring in Murasakibara before swiftly passing to a free Teppei who scored with no problem.

And so the score was even again soon enough. There was still hope for both teams. But in the last minute both Murasakibara and Kagami got in the Zone. It was battle of the aces since Tatsuya also managed to keep up with his team mate and help him. So the other guys from Seirin tried to help Kagami as much as they could. Going for screens or trying to steal the ball. Kuroko even got one foul with his low presence from Tatsuya which stopped the game for a bit, enough to distract Murasakibara out of the Zone.

And so Kagami got two more baskets in, leading his team to victory. Of course the Yosen players weren't very happy but were satisfied with the fight they had put up. It was a nice match, not lost until the final moment.

Besides, the could always meet again in the main Tournament. Not everything was lost.
