Both Midorima and Aomine were running around the court, not missing a pass or a step that the other made. Like two wolves fighting, the two boys jumped in one-on-one's and tried to score against the other or distract him from their teammates.

Unfortunately for the blue-haired though, Midorima wasn't alone. Yes, he was Shutoku's ace and fought Aomine. But he had Takao to help him or lean on. The boy always delivered the most precise passes with the best timing (well, not as best as Akashi's but still, Takao was very good) and so Midorima had more freedom to move or shoot. Sometimes he also tried one of his new shots where he'd jump for the shot without the ball or start running in a completely unexpected direction before suddenly the ball was in his hands. But if Aomine figured the path for the later shot, Takao could always shoot and score by himself.

Aomine was having fun though, playing with a smile, enjoying himself to the fullest while also being able to play to the fullest. Which he still wasn't.

The boy decided this was enough. Shutoku was starting to pull away with all these three pointers.

It was time for Aomine to enter the zone.
