His tests results were as perfect as his shots. Mirodima, as always, had passed his exams with ease. The same couldn't be said about Takao though (probably because he hardly ever shot towards the hoop, maybe that's why his tests weren't as good too).
The boy didn't seem too bothered by this, thus annoying his green-haired friend. On the opposite, he wanted to go play basketball, train a bit more. Okay, Midorima agreed with this, it was a good idea.
While practicing, the two boys soon began talking about Yoshi. Midorima admitted he was thinking of a new move to teach the pup.
Then Takao got an idea. Only little Tetsuya and Hissori could pass. Maybe it was a good idea for Yoshi to learn, too. What if the green-eyed pup ended up on a team with Senshi again? They needed to be more prepared.
Of course, the boy happily offered to help with that task. Midorima was quiet for a few moments, thinking over the proposal.
It was actually a clever idea (the second one for today, wow, he was impressed). But still, the taller boy had to think of how he could use this, what exactly his puppy had to learn.
Midorima told Takao he would think it over a bit more, plan it properly, before telling him what he was going to do. His friend nodded, understanding. Yeah, Midorima was one to play it the clever way.
The fight between the puppies' basketball skills was getting as wild as the fight between their owners. And the tournaments were coming soon enough.
