Senshi got the ball and immediately switched gears, attacking as fast as possible. But the reddish puppy had instructions for this case, if he lost the first ball. Let Senshi score. Don't show your height trick yet. So that's what the reddish pup did. He stopped Senshi from scoring a few times but in the end the pup succeeded, getting the first point.
Now Akashi's pup could go full force. After a quick look to his human, the pup shot forward like a cannon. Senshi reacted a second too late and the point for the reddish pup was scored. He had the ball again after just a few seconds, having stolen it from Senshi. The pups were close so he couldn't use his full power for running. This gave Senshi the chance to block him.
Until the reddish puppy surprised everyone by doing the same trick for a third time but this time in another match. He got up on his hind legs, the ball in one of his front paws. Senshi of course was shocked too but reached his own paw forward to push the ball out of his opponent's control.
And then there was a change in the reddish pup's eyes, just like with his human. They became more steely. He was ready. One hundredth of a second later the ball was in his other paw, the puppy had made a step around Senshi. The noise the ball made when hitting the ground wasn't as loud as when Kotarou did it but it was still loud enough to make everyone jump, especially the other puppy on the court. When Akashi's puppy scored a second later, Kotaro, who had come especially to watch the pup, got up and cheered loudly. The reddish pup looked happily at him, waving his tail while Akashi nodded thankfully to his teammate.
The reddish puppy was in the lead thanks to one of the Uncrowned Kings.
