Seirin didn't need to show any new tricks in their first match. Kuroko even sat it out, keeping an eye on his bag where little Tetsuya's head could be seen. He had come to watch, too. And to support his team of course.
Yosen too aced their first match. The shield was unbreakable as always. Murasakibara and Tatsuya obviously played better than before.
Their game was interrupted though when a bark echoed through out the hall. Seirin froze in fear only to see the purple-head from the opposite court get called and asked to take a purplish puppy outside.
That was the first time anyone but his team and Akashi saw Murasakibara's puppy. Everyone was surprised. Even the boy's team mates as they didn't know he had taken the animal. Murasakibara just shrugged, saying that the pup wanted to come, too. That's all.
Meanwhile the opposite team used the distraction to get a few points from Seirin. But the guys didn't really see that as a threat and quickly returned the favour.
The afternoon matches went smoothly, too. By now it really was obvious that Yosen and Seirin will continue on forward.
Still, tomorrow was their match. The fact that their teams were leading didn't mean that the fight between their ace duos won't be on life and death.
Tomorrow both Kuroko and Kagami, and Murasakibara and Tatsuya were going all out.
