Chapter 1 (50) Sibling Fight

No POV

Sitting by the lake with dryads surrounding him was Y/n. They seemed to be talking with him about something. It wasn't really about anything in particular, just gossip that Y/n wasn't really interested in.

He would much rather be laying in bed, but Silena and Drew have a problem with him doing that. Saying that he shouldn't stay depressed, though he never would admit to feeling that way.

Eventually Y/n got bored and the nymphs had started to talk amongst themselves, so he got up and left.

Walking back towards the cabin he passes Clarisse. Luckily she didn't notice him.

It seems some of the campers had this idea to 'cheer the dove up'. He appreciated it at first, but eventually it got annoying when they kept pulling him into things.

Y/n made his way to the Big House where Chiron was sitting down looking out at the sea lost in thought.

'What's on your mind?' Y/n signs in question to the old centaur.

Chiron looks at Y/n for a moment before shaking his head, "Nothing for you to be concerned about yet."

Y/n nods, but processed what he just heard. Chiron basically just said he would have to be concerned about it eventually, he wasn't looking forward to that.

"Have you been holding up well?" Chiron ask Y/n who silently groans. "With Thalia joining the hunt and all..."

'I'm fine.' Y/n signs quickly. 'People are slowly getting on my nerves though.'

"They are just worried about you." Chiron says.

'I know that, but smothering me with worry wont make the hurt go away.' Y/n signs. 'It just adds something to be frustrated about.'

"So they're being overbearing?" Chiron ask and Y/n nods.

'Silena to be particular.' Y/n signs with a silent sigh.

Chiron just nods as he strokes his beard. He looks back out over the sea his mind drifting to something.

"You still don't know how to swim do you?" Chiron ask and Y/n shakes his head.

Chiron looked like he was about to say something but chose not too shaking his head.

"For what it's worth." Chiron says. "I'm sure Artemis didn't mean to hurt you. She just often disregards how males would feel in favor of females."

Y/n nods as he stares up at the sky. A multitude of emotions flashing across his face. The slowly setting sun illuminates his face.

"Are you eating tonight?" Chiron ask him.

'I don't feel like it.' Y/n signs.

"Very well. But your siblings are bound to bring something back for you. Go head off to bed." Chiron says with a sigh.

Y/n stands up and begins to walk towards the Aphrodite cabin.

Y/n POV

Laying down on my bed. I feel my phone buzz repeatedly. Turning it on I see it's  Ellie who messaged me.

'Y/n I think Artemis and Zoe are getting closer.' Ellie's text read.

'Thats good. Tell mom.' I text back.

'Thalia wants to talk to you.' Ellie text back catching my attention.

'Why?' I text back.

'She didn't say. But I can call and hand her the phone.' Elle sent back.
