how are ya'll.

heres a story.

once upon a time i was meant to be doing science work but im writing part of this update.

the end.

I walked through the broken city streets, there was floods and rubble everywhere.

I had been crying, the ground kept shaking and i didn't know what to do. I started to run and as i picked up my pace i heard a voice behind me. It was a child, he looked to be about three years old with light brown hair and deep brown eyes.

" uh, hey sweetie, what are you doing alone?" i asked, in a baby voice.

"mummy and daddy gone" he said, his lip pouted as if he was about to cry.

" wheres gone?" i asked, i was hoping they were just around the corner or something.

He pointed up to the sky with his little pudgy finger raised as if he was a pupil in a classroom.

" up there, in hebben (heaven)" he said. I didn't know what to say and i just stood there staring at this little child in disbelief. I walked slowly towards him, he just stood frozen and stared at me, his beautiful eyes full of fear.

" do you want to come with me then?" i asked him, he nodded and began to relax a bit.

" come on then" i whispered, reaching my arms infront me, so he could take my hand. Instead, he ran towards me, throwing himself into my arms.

I picked him up and he nuzzled into my neck, making me warm.

" whats your name then?" i asked as I again started walking down the torn streets, through water and mud, heading home.

"James" he whispered.

I turned into my street and i was shocked at what i saw. The sidewalk had deep holes, which were filled with a muddy, smelly water. there were houses that were split in half and lamp posts that were now leaning on very scary angles.

I picked up my pace and headed down my long drive and up to the front door.

My driveway was cracked and there was a hole right in the middle which I had to step over skillfully as I still had a toddler cradled gently in my arms.

" okay James, stand here while I open the door" I said, placing him under the sun canopy, away from any trees or broken houses.

" okay" he whispered.

The house was a tip.

there was broken glasses all over the floor, the fridge was open will all its contents spilling out onto the floor. I walked into the lounge and saw our fifty inch flat screen tv was on the floor face down.

James was standing behind me and I didn't know what to do with him, surely he would have someone looking for him?

We settled down for dinner, although I was feeling to nervous to eat properly, and James started talking about how his mummy and daddy were in the shop and he had to wait outside while they were inside. He was so cute, the way he talked, the way his eyes glistened when he talked about his favorite things.
