I look cautiously around as the others appear next to me. Loki and Sif are already talking to some guy but the non-Asgardians are taking in the sights.
"We're on a different planet," I grin. The worry of what Tony might have said to Loki is vanished by the excitement of being on a different bloody planet! "This is so cool!"A man stares at me with weird eyes. "Ellie Potts of Earth," he says. "I have been watching you. You shall achieve great things."
"Um, okay. Hi." I wave at him. "Who are you?"
"This is Heimdall," Loki comes over to me, smiling. "He protects Asgard and watches over the realms."
Heimdall looks at Loki then at me, a smile on his face as he chuckles. "Oh, Loki, I wasn't aware that you were in love with the-"
"Heimdall!" Loki coughs loudly and I feel myself going red. What the frickety fracking duck did Heimdall just say? "Shall we go to Mother?"
"Yes, yes, of course. I believe that she is in her chambers. Your father and brother are already there."
"He is not my father," Loki says.
"Then is Frigga not your mother? Is Thor not your brother?" Heimdall raises his eyebrow.
"Let's save these conversations for another time, Heimdall."
Everyone starts walking down the rainbow sparkly bridge but I'm frozen, too shocked to move. Did Heimdall just say what I think he said? Did he say Loki loved me?
"Holy crap," Bucky says. I look at him, hoping that he'd heard it too and I wasn't just dreaming. "Steve's ass looks even better in an alien world."
Not the conversation topic I was hoping for but still very very true.
