EMILIO
I'm woken up by soft hands caressing my face. I fluttered my eyes open & turned my head to look at the person, a smile forming on my lips looking at my beautiful girl caressing my face softly.
"My beautiful girl." I whispered & she looked at me.
"Emilio?!" She screamed waking up Geo. He jumped up from the couch & fell on the ground making me chuckle.
He then stood up & I looked at his outfit, furrowing my eyebrows together wondering why he's wearing nurse scrubs. I then looked at Zuri & she's wearing the same baby blue scrubs.
I tried to sit up but failed, I groaned out in pain.
"Are you okay?" She asked, concern written all over her face & I smiled.
"I'm healed just by seeing your beautiful face." I whispered & she smiled, quickly looking away.
"Corny." She whispered.
"Ew, go back to dying please." Geo added & Zuri snapped her head in his direction, sending a glare his way.
"I'm joking, but you scared me brother. I thought I was going to lose you." He whispered & I smiled.
Zuri slightly moved & I spotted Mariano seated on one of the chairs.
He nodded his head at me & I did the same. I beckoned him over with my hand & he stood up from the chair. He walked around the bed & Zuri moved aside allowing him to come closer.
I held out my hand & he softly placed his hand in mine. We firmly shook hands & both Geo & Zuri looked at each other in shock & confusion.
"Y'all are besties now?" Geo asked & I shook my head.
"You're pushing it." I said as I released Mariano's hand from the firm grip.
"Bye." He said & I nodded my head at him.
"Bye Mariano." Zuri whispered waving at him & he did the same.
"Bye pretty girl." He smiled & I rose an eyebrow. Zuri cleared her throat & Geo looked away with a smirk.
"Just because I'm in a hospital bed won't stop me from killing you." I said with a blank face & he sighed.
