With Strongclaw flying ahead of the horses, Connor took a direct route to the Karan desert that seemed to have been well travelled. He called it the Caravan Route and it was this route that most of the Eastern merchants used to reach the Western worlds.
There were other routes that led directly through to the North, coming this way in a round-about way, but most merchants simply used this well-travelled route to King Lancet's lands.
Keeping mostly to myself, my apatite had been lacking and Moira commented that I should eat a bit in order to at least maintain the basic nourishment requirements for my body.
What did it help to eat if the food made you nauseous, if you were really not feeling hungry, running on Source Energy the whole time?
As my people prepared the camp for the night, I called Moira to me. It was time to work and we moved away to the correct area I was required to work from.
Habieb and Reif followed us, with Habieb knowing that it was time for Universal work again.
Moira backed up a bit, leaving me in a slight depression, the epicentre of the Ley-Lines for this specific area. These areas could be likened to Meridian points on a human body. These were the minor energy points of the planet. Points where easy access to all her other realms were facilitated. It was my function to balance this planet on an energetic level, as if it was a very huge body.
Repeating my performance of using the sword for this work, this particular evening brought on a spectacular show of Source Energy of such potent magnitude that it looked as if Kaliel was capturing lightning.
It took all my strength, and eventually allowing Moira to blend with me, to keep my body functioning on a physical level.
After turning Kaliel, allowing the Transmuted energy to run back and through this area of Leilaka, I stepped away from the sword, letting it to fall to the ground.
My whole body hurt, as if it had been exposed to a Wormhole. But it was not. It was just the effect of the Source Energy it had to carry in order to serve all of Leilaka.
"Are you done?" Habieb asked in Bedien and I wondered briefly if he had tried Telepathy but found me locked to him.
*Yes* I replied, just standing there, rooted to the spot, as if I had already left this body to walk in Astral.
"Make yourself one with your body and come over here so you can rest" Reif told me, looking at me, and not my body.
Realizing that I had actually left my body was not an enjoyable realization. I had disengaged a part of me, 'stepping' out of my body, although still consciously aware that it was standing there, running it remotely as I used to do at the start of my adventures as Han Storm.
So this too, is a learning curve for Krish's body, I thought to myself, making myself one with my body in order to function properly in a third dimensional world.
"Are you well, Master Han?" Reif asked me, wanting to confirm if I was back where I should be and not separated as I was a moment ago.
"I am well" I confirmed, taking Kaliel from Habieb, smiling a tired thank you at my friend for assisting me in my functions.
Habieb beamed a broad smile back at me, knowing that the small part he played in my life made a huge difference to me. It made it bearable to go away as I had to. When I returned, there was at least one person that did not judge me, or blamed me when I seemed different.
