"He is as stubborn as his Huracan" Ishmay complained to Emmaceria and another Elf that stood facing him.
This Elf seemed aged, looking serene, as if nothing could unsettle him. He had seen everything, experienced everything. He was considered a wise leader amongst his people.
With long white hair hanging loose over his white tunic, he could have passed as either a healer or a Magi.
Moira was looking after my body where I had left it in the shelter of the trees at the top of the cliff. My astral form was stationed in a dark corner of this room, listening and watching in on this conversation. I could just imagine how Duek, my Dark Guardian from my previous life, must have felt, waiting around me all the time.
"Ragghwaart" Emmaceria addressed her elder. "We cannot allow Han to stay in the cold on his own. It is not like us to send our saviour away."
"We did not send him away. It is he that does not trust us" Ragghwaart replied. "Not that I blame him after his reception from the so-called Huracan Master." He spat on the floor, showing his contempt at a traitor.
"What can we do to change his mind?" Emmaceria wanted to know.
"Give him something that will make him return to us" Ishmay replied.
"The Riders are preparing to leave" Ragghwaart informed them. "They want to locate him to help them find their Huracan. I will leave with them when they go, I wish to be re-united with Raman as well."
"How many Riders are still here?" Ishmay wanted to know.
"Seven, with me" Ragghwaart replied.
"Then I will go with you. Han will listen to me. He is not an unreasonable entity."
Ragghwaart narrowed his eyes at Ishmay's use of wording.
"It is not the first time you have referred to him as an entity, not a Rider or a Man. Do you truly believe that he is a Servant directly from The Creator?"
"We both do" Emmaceria answered for Ishmay. "I know. He came to me while we were still captured in the spell. I saw him as a child with dark hair."
"Now he is a young man with flaxen hair. So was it him, or not?" Ragghwaart was adamant to know.
"You know the whole story" Ishmay countered on my behalf. "He is in disguise and as soon as he is back under my care, I will darken his hair again to hide him from his enemies."
"It does not seem as if he needs any protection, not with his Huracan at his side" Ragghwaart replied. "He can also keep a cool head in a life-threatening situation. I like that in a person."
Ishmay smiled at Ragghwaart. "Just do not let him lose his temper. Then you get to see a totally different side of him" he warned.
"Temperamental, like a Huracan." There was pride in Ragghwaart's voice. He seemed impressed with me.
Someone knocked on the door before opening it. The same young Elf that had served me the porridge earlier was standing in the doorway.
"We are ready to leave" he told his elder.
"Do you wish to join?" Ragghwaart wanted to confirm with Ishmay.
"Of course" he responded, taking my coat from the chair, picking up my boots before joining the men that were waiting in the passage.
