*** Eleven ***
*Release me* I thought at the woman on the other side of the glass divider.
**No, please come back to us** she answered me Telepathically.
*I have a new life with a new mission I wish to complete. I have been given a chance to start over. Release me.* I pleaded.
Her red hair was donned neatly on top of her head. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, her green eyes hauntingly large in her thin face.
**I miss our connection. I miss your guidance. I miss you, Daddy.**
*If I stay, I become a wraith, torn between two worlds. Release me so I may learn to know peace.*
She looked over to where the white-jacketed man stood at a console, waiting for her to finish her visit.
**I'll always love you, Daddy. Find peace.**
With these words she held her breath while throwing a tiny gas canister at the attendant's feet. He collapsed immediately.
Taking the attendant's place in front of the console, she opened the sealed glass doors, allowing the poisonous gas entry to the crio-sleep cubicle.
This action effectively destroyed the well-preserved body of Han Storm.
As my Soul-Spirit rose up, finally freed from the once immortal body, I heard her gasp for air, a last thought passing on to me **Universal Speed . . . High Lord.**
It was not bad to die, to be released from a body, knowing that on another world, in another time, in some or other parallel dimension, you were already connected to a body and it was patiently waiting to be reclaimed.
Right now, however, I found myself in a slight predicament. I knew who I was and used to be. I had all my Universal memories intact, but no idea of how to get back to my new body.
As if a satellite, I hovered in the space above Creata, my planet of previous residence, seeing the thunder-clouds forming, the planet slowly turning around its own axis.
Where to from here? How do I find my new body, my new place in Creation?
The Dark Shade enveloped me.
"*Trust me. I will guide you there.*"
Faithful Duek, my Dark Guardian. Even when I had no memory of who he was, he stuck with me, guiding me where I needed to go.
Releasing control of my spirit into his icy enfoldment, I allowed him to whisk me off through time and space to my new residence.
It felt as if we swam through the darkest, stickiest matter the Cosmos could create, feeling worse than getting stuck in the gooey mass of the Portals. We were slipping through a rift in time, similar to the first time I had met Hack Brannigan.
Duek assisted me to successfully negotiate this entry into the unfamiliar dimension, taking me unerringly through the dark of space until we reached the planet where my new body resided.
Strangely, the spiritual dimensions around the planet seemed quite similar to the permanent residence I had had in Kraita's Universe.
Duek could not pass through the Light Portal to the Higher Astral World of my new home. He was from the Dark side and was not allowed passage. My Light Guardian presented itself on the first step to my new world, holding its energy open for me to step into.
