*** Fifty ***

I woke up with a warm weight over my pelvis. Merrykara was sitting on top of me, having linked herself with me before I had a chance to avoid her.

"It seemed such a waste to not make use of the opportunity" she smiled sweetly down at me, helping herself to her sensual needs, taking what she wanted.

Quickly reaching her peak, she was ecstatic of the power this specific position placed her in.

Rolling off me, she sighed with satisfaction, watching me get up to wash in last night's water.

"You know, you do have a very desirable body" she mentioned, stroking herself, working herself up into surprised satisfaction.

"I never knew my body would respond to my own promptings?" she enquired as I started dressing in riding clothes.

"If your mind is on sexual needs, your body will respond to anything that remotely indicates the satisfaction of such needs" I told her. "I am not sure that I would be able to satisfy you at all times. I am still needed elsewhere and will be absent from home for months at a time, therefore I will see that you are seen by a Teacher that can help you gain control of your needs."

"That would be wonderful" she laughed cheerfully.

I escaped under pretence that I had to look strong after my night of victory in the royal bed-chamber.

She allowed me to go.

By the time I reached the stables, I was weeping in frustration. I did not bother with a saddle and threw the stable door open, jumping onto Windshine, asking him to run like the wind.

He did not delay, finding his way quickly out of the city while I lay uncomfortably over his back, eyes closed to the world, hiding my face in his thick mane.

The guards at the gate hailed me good morning, but I did not give them any heed. As Windshine galloped along the road, I gave way to my dread and heartache, gasping huge, tearless sobs.

When we reached the first woods, Windshine slowed down, telling me that Habieb and Lance were not far ahead.

I now knew why there was animosity between Moira and Merrykara. Moira had instinctively known that Merrykara was not good for me. But what could I do? I was stuck in this play and had to go through with it.

Moira was lying next to Lance. It looked as if she was sleeping.

Habieb sat with his back to Lance's forelegs, knees pulled up, both elbows resting on his knees, his hands dangling a dagger.

He raised his head as we approached. Not saying a word, he waited for me to come to him.

Slipping off Windshine, I woke Moira softly with a telepathic prompt.

She opened her eyes, just to close them again and I went over to her, Habieb not saying a word, keeping quiet so I could first deal with my Huracan.

*Are you well?* I wanted to know from her. It was not like her to be sick. As far as I knew, Huracan did not get sick.

**As well as you are** she stated, refusing to acknowledge me physically, sulking, keeping her eyes closed, not wanting to see me.

*I do not have a choice* I told her.

**I know** she told me back.

Biting my lip, I tried to keep the tears back, but it did not work and they rolled in huge drops over my cheeks.
