A heaviness pressed on my heart, making it hard to breathe.
The dread that grew within my chest left my legs paralyzed from the middle of the thighs down to the toes.
I was standing on the edge of a cliff, but this cliff was under the sea.
Surrounding me, were all sorts of living creatures swimming about.
With a sudden shudder the seabed shifted, allowing molten rock to be released from the cavern below.
Grabbing onto the rock beneath me I experienced the seabed heaving up, heading for the surface and open air in a trail of bubbles.
The cliff face breached the ocean in a geyser of air and hissing steam.
When the fog retreated, I found myself sitting on the rocks I had been next to, weeks earlier.
To my right, lights where shining from a city.
A soft hiss behind me claimed my attention and turning around, I found Moira waiting patiently for me.
She sported a brand new Huracan saddle, with safety straps and all.
The air around her shimmered and danced, swirling the image in front of me into a circle of colour that was replaced by a rift in time.
Stepping through the opening, which sealed immediately after my entry, I looked around with stunned senses.
This was a magical place as one could only wish to dream about.
Tiny winged Faery creatures, all dressed in a white downy substance, softly herded me towards a huge old oak tree.
The bark of the tree opened, revealing an enchanted doorway through which I entered.
Exiting the syrupy light, I found that this entryway led into the interior of a magnificent palace.
Here, a childlike entity with delicate, see-through wings ushered me to follow her down a glistening corridor.
We stopped in front of wooden doors decorated with carvings that looked awfully familiar, so much so that I was, again, starting to panic.
When the doors swung open, it really did not matter what I was feeling or thinking any longer.
On an ivory throne sat the most beautiful being I had ever perceived. Her beauty even put the Creator, Kraita, to shame.
"Come" the Queen of the Faery Folk invited in a gentle, yet authoritive voice.
Walking over to the throne, as if in a dream, which I was probably having in any case, I stopped in front of her.
"We have heard your call to arms. We have listened to your promise of peace. We acknowledge your message of hope to all the Dimensions of Leilaka, our special world.
What we had not envisioned, was that you were to be so young in physical years.
How old is your body?"
"Almost fourteen Winters" I replied in my boyish voice.
She eyed me suspiciously. I could not read her mind.
