Ender took a deep breath. Fourth of July was coming...

Ender didn't necessarily have a good relationship with Fourth of July—especially with fireworks. When Ender was younger, she had this holdable fireworks that went off late; and being a child, she thought it was a great idea to make it face her to check on it. It then exploded in her face—maybe not explode explode, not explode to cause any actual damage, but it still went on in her face.

So Ender was terrified of even watching fireworks from a distance. Still, she wanted to host a Fourth of July celebration in her home for the roommates.

Ender sighed as she grabbed the keys to her car.

"Hey! Does anyone want to help me pick out fireworks?"

Monika immediately was next to Ender.

"I'll come!"

Ender nodded and turned.

"Anyone else?"

"No!"

"No thanks."

"I'll be fine here."

"I literally can't leave this pot."

Different voices emerged from the house. Ender sighed and turned to Monika.

Nahida nodded before giggling.

Ender nodded.

"Thanks Nahida. Bye Nahida."

"Bye Ender! Bye Monika!"

And so, off Ender and Monika went to go buy fireworks.

Ender sighed as she looked at the fireworks.

"Hey Ender?"

Ender turned to Monika, who was holding a tiny box.

"Do you think Villager and Isabell would like playing with these firecrackers?"

They were thin firecrackers. Ender remembered playing with them before she got afraid of fireworks.

"Oh-yeah, maybe they would. Let's get them."

Monika's face brightened and placed them in the cart. Ender turned her attention back to the fireworks.

Most were really big explosions...Ender swallowed and began picking up the smaller boxes and reading the descriptions. She felt tempted to ask which created smaller explosions...would that be okay to ask?

"Hey Ender, you look stressed. Is something wrong?

Ender blinked and turned to Monika. She stared for a few seconds before sighing.

"...I want to give you guys a proper Fourth of July celebration but..it just...I'm scared of fireworks. Which it's stupid but, Y'know."

Ender shrugged. Monika stared and walked closer
