Narrator, Iain Stirling (voice over):

It's nighttime in paradise.

Oh, hang on, it's morning in paradise!

I'd forgotten how quickly that happens on this show.

And in the villa, the couples are...

(Islanders are shown sleeping still.)

Marisol and Gary, Grace and Rocco,

Lottie and Bobby, Hope and Noah,

and Priya and Ibrahim.

It's the morning after yesterday's recoupling. Grace is snuggled up in bed. You wake up slowly. A light breeze playing over your skin. Hey, who stole the duvet? When you peek over the edge of your bed, your duvet is on the floor. How did it get there?

Iain Stirling:

It's the morning after the first Islander was dumped from the Villa, and all is quiet...

Well, except Noah's snoring. And Marisol's sleep-talking...

One Islander, Grace, doesn't appear to have had the best sleep.

Oh, for goodness' sake! How does Hope sleep with Noah snoring so loud? If she can cope with that, they're meant for each other. You turn to look at Rocco. He's kicked all his sheets to the bottom of the bed, revealing a chiselled body. His hands rest cupped over his lower abs. His face is the picture of serenity. He's probably dreaming of sitting at a campfire in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. I was freezing last night. I'm not letting him get away with that again. You look around the room. At first, in the gloom, you think no one else has stirred. Then you notice Lottie sitting straight up in bed, staring at you. Her long, colourful hair is dangling in front of her face.

"Grace."

"You almost made me jump," you say in a quiet tone.

Lottie is wearing a devilish smirk. "Good. I like doing that. I'm great at it."

Grace asks with a cheeky smile, "Get up to anything last night?"

"Why would I tell you?" Lottie snapped.
