EP03 Pt2 cont...

Pool

You splash about with Bobby and Gary for a bit, competing to see who can make the biggest wave with their arms. Next, you hang onto the edge and start kicking your legs like a mermaid, splashing them both. Gary swims as fast as he can towards the other end of the pool. Despite his head start, Bobby soon overtakes Gary. "Phew! You're good at this."

"Me and the family used to go wild swimming in Loch Morlich, up in the Cairngorms. You have to be fast, or you turn into an ice cube. We're spoiled with this heated malarky!"

Bobby swims after them, flailing his arms wildly like an octopus.

Grace giggles. "What are you doing, Bobby?"

"I'm an octopus."

They laugh and try to get away from him, but he manages to catch up with them. It turns into an impromptu game of octopus tag.

With your arms extended beside your head and straight out, guiding your movement, and your toes pointed, like a ballerina. You move gracefully in the water, keeping your feet together, and make a wave motion, rolling your full body from your fingers to your toes, kicking in time with each other like a dolphin. Keeping your core muscles nice and tight, you propel yourself forward and give yourself more speed, power, and control as you glide through the water towards the boys.

"Woah." Gary is surprised. "Where did you learn to swim like that?"

"I used to dream I'd wake up one day and be a mermaid."

Gary tilted his head toward you and smiled. "Aw, that's cute. As a little girl?"

"Uh... Yeah." Grace hesitates for a moment. "I think that would be great. A little mermaid."

"Like the song?" Bobby asked. "I think I know the one you mean. How does that song go?"

"Something about it being really awesome under the water?" Grace smiles wistfully. "As a mermaid, you can stay underwater for a long time and explore the oceans, which comprise over 70% of the earth. Your beautiful tail would allow you to swim faster underwater. I actually have a mermaid tail and a monofin."

Bobby looks at you intently. "I always hoped beautiful mermaids were not just legendary half-fish creatures but were real." He swims to the edge, looking down at his hands, and says, "And no more wrinkly hands when you stay in the water too long!"

She would be a sexy mermaid. Gary looks at his palms, trying to get his focus on anything other than the sexy image of her topless. "Yeah, what's that about? It's a shame we can't stay in here all day."

Grace responds, "Something about the wrinkles helps direct water away from the skin. Wrinkled fingers can grasp wet objects better while you are submerged in water."

"Well, I'd better dry off before I end up like a raisin." Bobby gets out of the pool and heads off to the villa.

Your heart starts racing when the crane operator gives you a grin as he moves towards you. Oh my days! That lopsided, sexy grin of his is going to get me in a lot of trouble. As you pouted your lips slightly, his eyes dropped to them. "Bobby has a good point." You drop your eyes to examine your palms.

Gary grabs your waist with both hands, causing your breath to catch and your core to tingle. He suddenly lifts you out of the pool and gently sits you on the edge. "Don't want you to turn all pruney, darlin'." Then, in a single, effortless motion, Gary lifts himself out of the pool and sits beside you.
