The fresh air felt bittersweet in Chishiya's lungs when he breathed it all in. The gate behind him was closing back up, preserving the game he was previously in. His surroundings weren't the brightest, but they weren't the darkest either.
"Well, this is it Chishiya. You're leaving me, aren't you."
"Mhm. I have to. I don't know the current state of my group and if everyone's okay. I assume they are, but I could be wrong of course."
"Well go ahead and look for them. I'll stay here with Yaba until further notice."
"Mhm. Stay safe and make smart decisions."
"Of course. I'm not trying to die here."
They smiled at each other before splitting up and walking their separate ways, not knowing what the current state of Tokyo had in store for them. They just had a feeling that they would run into each other sooner or later.
