Into the Unknown

Thor the Dark World part 4

I'm not sure how much time passes by. An hour maybe? There's nothing to do in the room Jane and I are in except look outside the window when the door opens and a guard comes in with some food.

"I'm not hungry." Jane says.

I barely have time to say or think that I might be hungry when Sif appears and knocks out the guards.

"Sif!" I exclaim.

"Let's go. Thor's waiting." She says.

I stand up and walk over to her, followed by Jane. Sif leads us through some hallways when we turn a corner and there is Thor and Loki waiting for us.

"Hi, I'm Loki... why are you still here?" He asks when he sees me.

"I'm ok." Well, physically at least.

"I told you to go home!" He puts his hands on his hips. I notice that Thor did not handcuff him.

"Yeah, well, shit happened." I gesture to the destruction of the palace.

"This is the same guy who tried to take over Earth?" Jane whispers to Thor.

Thor is about to answer when a bunch of guards come around the corner.

"Go! I'll hold them off." Sif says.

We start to walk away but Sif holds her sword out to Loki's neck.

"If you betray Thor, I'll kill you." She says.

Loki chuckles but I gently push her arm away.

"He won't betray anyone." I look at Sif.

She looks at me for a second, then glances back at Loki quickly before turning to the guards heading our way. Loki and I quickly catch up to Thor and Jane.

"You should really stay here." Loki says lowly to me.

I look at him and raise an eyebrow. "And stay as Odin's prisoner? No thanks."

We come to a hallway and I see Volstagg standing in front of a Dark Elf ship that had crashed into the palace.

"You better hurry." He says and I look back to see more guards coming after us. He holds up his battle axe to Loki.

"If you betray Thor-"

"You'll kill me? Evidently there'll be a line." Loki quips back.

I roll my eyes and put a hand on Volstagg's arm. "Thank you." I then walk into the ship followed by Loki.

Thor is already trying to get the ship started.

"Please say you know how to fly this thing?" Loki asks.

"How hard can it be?" Thor begins to hit any button he sees.

"Well you must be doing something wrong." Loki says.

"I'm hitting all the buttons!" Thor exclaims.

I have to bite my tongue to keep from laughing. It's just like the movie.

"Well don't hit it, just press it gently."

"I am pressing it gently, IT'S NOT WORKING!" Thor shouts.

I let out a laugh and quickly cover my mouth. Thor hits a button and the ship starts just as Jane collapses.

"Oh dear, is she dead?" Loki muses.

"I'm fine." Jane says.

I walk over to her and kneel down beside her. Mostly because I know Thor is going to be crashing into anything and everything, and sure enough, if it was in the way, Thor crashes into it. After he crashes into the statue of Bor I stand up and look out of the open door. I see Fandral come up behind us trying to get beside us in a much smaller flying boat.
