The doors open to the lab and I walk in. Bruce and Tony are there.

"Hey, what did you want?" I ask them.

"Yeah, we were thinking, well mostly I was thinking-" Tony begins.

"No." I interrupt him.

"Seriously? I could always change some-" He begins to speak again.

"Tony what part of NO do you not understand?" I am starting to get angry.

Both Tony and Bruce look at me for a minute.

"Is it really that dangerous?" Bruce asks.

I turn to face him. "Let's put this way," I face Tony again, "I've seen where Ultron wins and kills every single one of you. So stop being a bunch of dumbasses and delete the whole thing before it even has a chance."

I turn and begin to walk away. I'm angry, and sad, and hurt.

"How many times have you seen us die?" Tony asks.

I huff but don't stop. "Too many times." I leave the lab and go back to my floor.

By the time I make it back to my room I can't stop the tears. I feel bad for taking everything out on them. I'll have to apologize to them later.

"My Lady! What's wrong?" Kari runs up to me.

I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out. Instead I just wrap my arms around her and cry.

"Oh, My Lady. It's alright." Kari soothes. She begins to smooth down my hair as she comforts me. When I calm down she pulls out a handkerchief and wipes the tears from my face. "Now, tell me. What's wrong?" She leads me over to the couch and we both sit down.

I sniffle. "I'm just...Loki and I had a fight...and I just wonder if I'm doing the right thing. And I took it out on Tony and Bruce just now."

Kari wipes more tears away. "Well you can apologize to them later. And I think you're doing the right thing. Finn told me about you knowing what's going to happen and I think that's a wonderful gift to have, My Lady."

I frown at that. It's not really. But I can't tell her that they're all just a bunch of movie characters.

"And as for Prince Loki, well, I think that will work out on its own as well." She says.

"I hope so." I mumble.

"Are you feeling better?" Kari asks.

I nod and sniffle. "Yeah I think so." I look at her. "I'm glad you're here, Kari." I hug her and she hugs me back. It really is great having her and Finn here.

"Now why don't you go wash your face and we'll go shopping for this party Mr. Stark is throwing." She says excitedly.

I laugh. "Alright. Give me a few minutes."

We spend the rest of the afternoon shopping and I tell her what to expect from a Tony Stark party. We even bring home dinner even though Loki doesn't eat with us. I give Finn his dinner and hope that he will eat it.

The day of the party arrives and it finds me sitting at the bar again, nursing my usual drink again. Loki is off in a corner but I can still see him. He's mostly been by himself, until I see Susie make her way over to him. Loki smiles at her and they begin to talk. My chest hurts and I turn away.

"Hey Gryffindor, where's Reindeer Games? Usually you two are joined at the hip." Tony says as he grabs another drink.

I shrug. "Somewhere in the back." I don't look up from my drink.
