Happy Together

As soon as the lights fade, I see one of the doors open and Tony, Natasha, Steve, and Sam walk out. I am nervous about seeing Tony again since we had a fight the last time I saw him. But I was also excited to meet Sam. I notice there is no Bucky so I wonder if he had walked off like in the movie. I'll have to ask Steve about that.

"Hi guys!" I say as they get closer. "I'm ho-"

I am interrupted by being pulled into a hug by Tony.

"Welcome home, Gryffindor." He says.

I am being hugged by Tony Stark! My eyes immediately fill with tears but I keep them from falling as I hug him back. He lets me go and I am then hugged by Natasha.

"Don't you ever scare us like that again." She scolds me.

I laugh. "I'll try not to."

Even Steve hugs me. "I'm sorry. I didn't even know anything had happened until I saw Rumlow with your dagger." He pulls the said dagger from behind his back.

"My dagger!" I gasp, taking it and holding it to my chest. "Thank you Steve." I turn to look at Loki and smile at him.

He smiles back at me. "I told you, we would get it back."

Tony then turns to look at Finn and Kari. "You two. Welcome to Earth and all that. Your rooms are all ready." Then he turns to look at Loki. "So is your room. You, Thor, and Lancelot here will be sharing a floor. Gryffindor, you're rooming with Gwenivere."

At their very confused looks I laugh. "Tony just names people as he sees fit, don't worry about it."

They nod but still look confused, so I take it upon myself to introduce them. "Tony, Nat, Steve, this is Finn and Kari."

They all say hi to each other and I turn to look at Sam. "Hi Sam. So glad to finally meet you."

I hold out my hand and he hesitantly takes it. "Steve told me about you. Don't know if I believe it yet."

I shake my head. "That's ok. You'll learn."

"Alright, let's move inside people." Tony commands.

I go to move but Loki stops me. "May I see the dagger?"

I hold it out for him. "It's your dagger, Loki. You don't have to ask."

He takes it and lays his hand on the hilt. The dagger and his hand begin to glow green for a minute before he removes his hand and hands it back to me. On the hilt are runes etched in gold along the black leather.

"What are these?" I ask.

"It's your name. Now only you and I can touch that dagger."

I look up at him. "Really?"

He nods. "Nothing that is mine is ever truly lost."

I smile at him and take his hand as we follow after everyone else. The first floor we visit is the boys' floor. It looks like mine except there are three rooms while mine has two. I find Loki standing in his room. There is just a bed, desk, and dresser. He has his own bathroom and closet as well.

"I'm sorry about all this." I say as I come to stand next to him.

He looks at me. "Don't be. This isn't so bad."

"Well I'm only two floors above you. And you're welcome anytime." I blush as I look outside the window.

Tony enters the room. "Alright Reindeer Games, as of right now, you are limited to the private floors. I'm putting my faith in Gryffindor and what she has said about New York. If you try to flee or go back to attacking us, I have a cage built just for you in the basement."

I step up in front of Loki. "It's ok, Tony. Loki won't be any trouble. Probably. Maybe. Mostly likely not. But still, he won't attack us."

Tony doesn't look convinced but leaves the room anyway. I turn back to see Loki's amused face.

"What? You're the God of MIschief. I know you're going to do something at some point." I turn and leave the room.

I meet Kari in the living room. "Ready to see our floor?"

She nods and I look over at Finn. "We're two floors above you." With that I take Kari and lead her to the elevator.

"JARVIS, take me to our floor, please." I say to the AI.

"Right away Miss. And welcome home." It says.

"What is that?" Kari asks.

"That's JARVIS. If you need anything you can just ask it and it will answer. It also helps to be polite as well." I joke.

"It does Miss Gryffindor." JARVIS responds and I laugh.

I show her to her room which I still had left empty, only now there was a bed, dresser and desk. Oh well, so much for a game room.

"We'll be sharing a bathroom. Hope that's ok."

"Oh this is perfect." Kari says.

"Maybe we can go shopping and get you some clothes." I say looking over at the closet in her room.

I spend the rest of the evening helping her get acquainted with her new home. When it comes time for dinner, she follows me into the kitchen.

"I'll make us something." I say.

"You can cook, My Lady?" She asks.

I can't help but chuckle. "Well, I'm no five star chef, but I can cook somewhat decently." I grab some meat out of the fridge. "Maybe while we eat we can watch a movie. Though I don't want to overwhelm you too much on your first day."

Kari shakes her head. "No My Lady. I'll be fine. Is there anything I can do to help?"

I shake my head this time. "No. You took care of me in Asgard, now it's my turn to take care of you."

We hear the elevator ding and look over to see Finn and Loki exit. Kari curtsies to Loki.

"Hey guys. I was about to make dinner. Want some?" I ask them.

"We don't want to impose." Finn states. He had changed out of his Einherjar armor and was now wearing simple leather pants and a long sleeved shirt.

I grab everything I need to make meatballs and get a pot of water boiling. "It'll be awhile, so y'all can do whatever."

Finn and Kari go and sit on the couch and Loki stands next to me. "May I ask a question, Pet?"

I snort. "Yeah, go ahead."

"Why does Tony call you Gryffindor?"

"Yeah, and who are Lancelot and Gwenivere?" Kari asks.

I laugh. "Well I'm called Gryffindor because I was wearing my Harry Potter jacket when I first met him."

At Loki's confused look I chuckle. "Well I know what movie we're watching for dinner. As for the other two. Lancelot is the name of King Arthur's Knight. Gwenivere is the name of Arthurs' wife who Lancelot fell in love with. There's a whole book about it. You two should read it."

I make myself busy with making the food. Figured I'd start them off with something simple. Spaghetti and meatballs seems simple enough. Once it's done I begin to plate the food and hand them out.

"JARVIS, please play Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." I say as we sit down to eat.
