My Valentine

Today is Valentine's Day and I am currently in the kitchen making cookies for Loki. I had asked him what he wanted and after telling me nothing, he finally relented and asked me to make him the cookies I had made when I first went to Asgard.

"Loki! Quit eating those! I need them for the cookies!" I go to grab the bag of chocolate chips out of his hand but he moves it out of my reach and I frown at him.

He smirks at me and pours some into his hand before handing me the bag. He then eats the chocolate in his hand. I roll my eyes but smile at him as I pour most of the rest of the bag into the mixing bowl. I never measure chocolate chips. I set the bag down and Loki picks it back up and eats the rest of the chips.

"Hey, WandaVision!" I say as the two enter the kitchen. "What are you two up to today?"

Wanda gives a little blush and Vision just smiles at me.

"I don't believe that there are any plans for today. What are you making?" Vision asks me.

"Coffee biscuits." I slap Loki's hand away from grabbing an uncooked cookie I had rolled out. "They're for Valentine's Day."

"So what are you two doing today?" Wanda walks up to the counter.

I shrug. "I don't know. Loki won't tell me anything."

"It's called a surprise for a reason, Love." He teases.

I finish rolling the cookies out and putting them onto a pan. The oven had already been prepped so everything was good to go. Wanda and Vision soon leave the kitchen and Tony enters. He sniffs the air.

"What are you baking?"

"Cookies." I answer him. "Got any big plans with Pepper tonight?"

The corner of Tony's mouth quirks up. "You know I don't kiss and tell."

I snort at that.

"But yes I do have plans. But that's not the reason I'm here. Have we met all of the Avengers yet?"

I shake my head. "No, we're missing Dr. Stephen Strange-"

"Strange? The Neurosurgeon?" Tony interrupts.

I nod. "Yeah. And I don't think his movie has happened yet. I'll know when it's time though."

"How?" Loki asks.

I begin to clean up the mess I had made with the cookies.

"He'll have to get into a car crash. He'll lose the ability to use his hands properly but that is what leads him to becoming a Sorcerer."

Tony blinks. "Wait, he has to get injured first?"

"Well, it's better if he gets injured than to have his girlfriend die." I state.

Tony and Loki look at each other.

"And what happens if she dies?" Loki asks.

"He still becomes a Sorcerer but he tries to use the Time Stone to bring her back. He fails every time and it eventually tears apart the universe."

There is a moment of silence before Tony sighs.

"And she just says that like it's nothing." He glances back at me. "So this Strange has or will have the Time Stone?"

"Yeah it's been on Earth the whole time. That's why I wasn't worried about it. It's in good hands right now with the Ancient One." I reply. "Don't worry, Stephen Strange is a good guy."

Tony just shakes his head. "Guess I'll just have to take your word for it. Also Banner says that he is really close to figuring out how to combine himself and Hulk."

"Oh good!" I smile.

Tony leaves after that and I finish washing the dishes I had used. When the cookies are done I take them out and move them to cool. I see Loki grab one after letting it cool for a bit.

"I assume that whatever you have planned for tonight involves dinner?" I raise an eyebrow at him while I take a cookie as well.

"It does. But I'm not telling you where." He answers.

"Well don't eat too much and then complain that you're sick." I laugh.

He rolls his eyes and I head back into our bedroom to take a shower. I assume it is someplace nice. It is still cold here so I pick out a nice wool dress that comes to the tops of my thighs. I hate wearing hose so instead I opt for some thigh high stockings and pair it with some black ankle boots. I set the boots down next to the bed and go back into the bathroom to put on makeup and style my hair.

When I am done with that I come back into the room to see Loki is already dressed. He has his back to me but I can tell that he has his hair slicked back and a long coat on. When he turns around and sees me he smiles. I smile too. He's wearing the same outfit he wore in the first Thor movie when he came to visit Thor, complete with the scarf.

"You look absolutely stunning, Little One." He steps closer to me.

"And you look absolutely gorgeous yourself." I smile up at him.

"Are you ready?" He asks.

"Let me put my shoes on." I sit down on the bed and put the boots on.

When I stand up Loki waves his hand and a coat with fur trim appears in his hands.

"Is that for me?" I ask him.

He puts it on my shoulders and I put my arms through the sleeves. It is really soft and warm.

"Of course it's for you." He conjures his own fur coat and holds out his hand.

I take it and we leave the room. Somehow, Loki had convinced Tony to let him borrow one of his cars and Loki drives into the city. He doesn't tell me where we are going to eat but he does tell me that our reservations aren't until later.

I smile when he pulls up at the museum. I had seen where they were going to have an exhibit on Ancient Japan. Loki gets out of the car and makes his way over to my side. He opens the door and holds out a hand for me.

I am grateful for the coat because it is colder than I thought it was going to be. But the coat keeps me nice and warm. We have to cross the street to get to the museum. While we wait for the light to change so we can cross I see several people standing around and looking at us. A few of them have their phones pointed at us.

From the ones that I can see that are closer, they don't seem to be angry. Instead they seem to be smiling.

"I think you have some admirers." I say softly to him.

"As a prince, I'm used to it." He says and squeezes my hand when the light changes.

The museum is huge and has several exhibits. We have time so we slowly walk through them. Loki even tells me interesting tidbits about some of the artists or people that are mentioned.

"No way! You met Leonardo Davinci?" I exclaim.

Loki smiles at me. "Yes. Interesting fellow. One of the few Midgardians I actually admired. Besides, who do you think gave him the idea to try and walk on water?" He winks at me.

Now that is what the Loki show should've been about I think as I chuckle.

We continue to stay in the museum for another hour before Loki says it's time for us to leave for dinner. He pulls up in front of an extremely expensive restaurant. I stare in awe as he helps me out and hands the key to the parking valet.

"How did you find this place?" I ask, not looking away from the building in front of me.

"Tony. I asked for some recommendations and he said this one."

I look away from the building and at Loki.

"Tony helped you?" I raise an eyebrow.

Loki frowns. "Yes, albeit with a lot of snide remarks. But yes, he helped with making the reservations too."

I take Loki's hand and we both enter the restaurant.
