The Avengers: Age of Ultron part 4

The Legionnaire lands in the middle of a church. The twins and Ultron are already there. The robot sets me down but I don't move.

"Ah, you finally arrived." Ultron says as he looks at me.

The twins both looked surprised to see me.

"What do you want?" I ask Ultron.

Not going to lie, I'm scared. Ultron is way scarier than Thanos.

"She is not part of this." Wanda says, still looking at me.

"Oh but she is. You see, she's the only one who can tell us how best this all ends." Ultron replies as he grabs the Scepter from the other Legionnaire.

My eyes grow wide and my heart beat speeds up. I take a step back away from the robot as he walks closer to me.

"And if you're thinking that you're not going to tell me anything, well, I'm afraid you won't have a choice." Ultron says as he touches the tip of the scepter to my chest. My last coherent thought is of Loki.

"What did you do?" Pietro asks.

"Just made it so that she can't lie. Humans lie all the time." Ultron answers him.

I can only stand there and wait for my master to ask me a question.

"So what is the first thing I need to do?" Ultron turns to face me.

"You will need a new body. One made of vibranium. Ulysses Klaue sells it on the black market off the coast of Africa." I answer.

"Perfect." Ultron turns to face the twins. "Now will the Avengers show up at this...black market?" Ultron asks me.

"Yes." I answer.

"Does she really know?" Pietro asks Wanda.

Wanda looks at me for a minute. "She is not lying."

Ultron looks at me. "You will stay here. We'll be back soon."

"Yes." I answer.

I watch as they leave. Hours pass as I wait for my master to return. He seems happy, or as happy as a murderous robot can be, when he and the twins return.

"See what happens when you tell the truth? Now tell me about Dr. Helen Cho."

"She's a geneticist that will build your new body with the vibranium. The new body will be able to hold the mind stone." I answer.

"What is the mind stone? There is nothing that says anything about it." Ultron orders me.

"The mind stone is one of the Infinity Stones. Powerful stones that can bring an end to the world or universe if one finds all six." I answer.

The twins look at each other in horror.

"This is not what you said. You said that we would kill Tony Stark, not the world." Wanda says angrily.

"And we will kill Tony Stark, but the best way to save humanity is to destroy it." Ultron sighs.

Wanda looks at Pietro and nods. In less than a second, I am standing somewhere on the outskirts of the city. The twins show up a second later and Wanda waves her hand at me, freeing me from the control of the Mind Stone. I suck in a breath as my mind becomes my own again.

"Oh God." I sob and fall to my knees. The episode of What if might very well happen.

"What happens now?" Pietro asks Wanda.

"We need to get to South Korea. Ultron is still going to go after Dr. Cho. He will use the mind stone on her to make his new body." I look up at Wanda. "You're going to have to free her."

"Will he really destroy the universe?" She asks.

"If he gets his hands on all six Infinity Stones, yes." I sniffle and stand up. I wipe my eyes and pull out my phone.

"What are you doing?" Pietro asks.

"Getting us a ride to Seoul." I dial Tony's number.

The twins look at each other.

"And you think we will go with Tony willingly?" Wanda asks with venom in her voice.

I shrug. "I mean, you become an Avenger, so why not?"

Her eyes widen.

"Tony?" I say into the phone.

"Gryffindor? Where are you?" He practically yells into the phone. I can hear a lot of shouting in the background.

"Somewhere outside Sokovia with the twins. Hurry up, we need to get going to Seoul, South Korea."

"We'll be there...She said she's ok, Loki! Calm down! We'll be there shortly." Tony says.

My heart skips a beat. Loki is worried about me? I hang up the phone. Tony can get my coordinates from it.

"Now would you like to see what else is going to happen?" I ask Wanda.

She steps closer and raises her hands to my head, the red energy swirling around them. I show her Vision, Sokovia, the Avengers stopping it, SHIELD evacuating the people, and Pietro dying again. She gasps and backs away, tears running down her face.

"What did you show her?" Pietro asks as he steps in front of Wanda.

"The truth." I simply say. "Look I know, Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the Earth and destroying it, and that comes from Tony. But I'm trying to change that."

Wanda grabs Pietro's hand. "It's ok. She has spoken the truth the whole time. I will trust her for now."

I nod and we settle down to wait for Tony to show up. He shows up an hour later and sets the quinjet down. As soon as the doors open the other Avengers come out. Kari runs out and immediately pulls me into a hug.

"My Lady!" She exclaims.

"Kari? What are you doing here?" I ask her as I hug her back.

"I was so worried about you. I had them take me with them." She cries.

She lets me go as Finn and Loki approach. Loki pulls me into a hug.

"Are you ok?" He asks me.

I hug him back and nod into his shoulder. "Ultron knows about the Infinity Stones. He made me tell him with the mind stone."

"Shh shh...It's alright. You had no choice." He says gently and hugs me tighter. "I thought I had lost you."

I smile at him. "You'll never lose me Loki."

"Ok you two, let's go." Tony yells.

Loki reluctantly lets go but still holds my hand as we board the quinjet. Wanda and Pietro have also boarded.

"Alright, off to Seoul." Tony says.

"Call Fury and tell him he needs to start evacuating the citizens of Sokovia." I tell him.

Tony doesn't even question it, he immediately dials Fury's number and I guess Fury doesn't question it either as Tony nods his head at me when he hangs up. I squeeze Loki's hand in hope that I can change things.
