Eye of the Tiger

Loki and I are making our way to the training room when Finn and Kari stop us.

"My Lady, may we speak with you?" Finn asks.

"Sure, what's up?" I stop and Loki stops as well.

Finn flicks his to Loki's before looking back at me.

"I assume that you know what happened on Asgard?" He asks me carefully.

I frown and nod. "Yes. Loki told me. Finn, Kari, I'm so sorry that happened. I didn't know or think about that happening."

"My Lady, we do not blame you." Kari says, grabbing my hands.

"No one blames you, Pet." Loki says.

I look down. I still can't help but feel like this is my fault. I'm the one who suggested them becoming Avengers.

"My Lady, while I will always be honored that I was once an Einherjar, I'm even more honored about being an Avenger. That is, if they will still let me be one." Finn says to me.

I look up at him and raise my eyebrow. "What do you mean, if?"

"I no longer have my armor or my weapon."

I give him a small smile. "Come with us to the training room. Tell Tony, he'll make you something."

"I don't want to trouble him." Finn says.

I shake my head. "Nonsense. He'll love the trouble. Besides, he makes stuff for the others all the time. If anything, he'll make you something better than your old armor."

With that, we all head towards the training room.

"About time you got here?" Tony says as we enter the room.

"You said we were needed but you didn't say when." I roll my eyes.

Tony just rolls his eyes in return. "I need someone to help test out the Kid's abilities."

I look at Loki. "Why don't you help him?"

"Me?" Loki asks.

"Yeah. You can use your magic to help him with his Spidey-sense."

"I get to train with Mr. Loki? Awesome!" Peter says excitedly.

I laugh and pat Loki on the arm. "Have fun."

I follow Tony into the control room. Finn and Kari follow as well.

"So has his movie already happened?" Tony asks me as he sits down and starts to record the fight.

"No. His movie is after Steve's." I answer.

I watch as Loki disappears. Peter looks around before Loki appears behind him. He swings his hand as if to hit Peter but Peter jumps away at the last second.

"Do we need to stop it?" Tony asks.

I think for a minute. "No, I don't think so. If I remember correctly, it acts as a bit of a humbling experience for him."

"How so?" Finn asks me.

"Tony makes him a new suit and he gets cocky." I reply. "Which speaking of making Peter a new suit, you need to make Finn a new one as well."

"I do? Why?" Tony asks.

I go back to watching Loki make multiple copies of himself. He seems to be taunting Peter. Peter looks around confused before closing his eyes and then flings his arm out and sends a string of his web fluid to the real Loki. All the copies of Loki disappear.

While this is going on Finn tells Tony everything that happened while they were back on Asgard.

"He did what?" Tony exclaims. He looks away and stands up to look at Finn. "Then I'll just have to make you something better. Come to the lab after this."

I look back at Finn and wink at him. "Told you."

"Thank you Mr. Stark." Kari smiles at him and hugs Finn.

Loki and Peter fight a little bit longer before Tony calls for it to stop. We exit the control room and walk over to them.

"So, how'd he do?" I ask Loki.

"The Spider-child is good. A little bit more training and he'll make for a fine Avenger."

"You really think so Mr. Loki?" Peter asks him.

"I'm the one who recruits you and you listen to Reindeer Games?" Tony asks him.

"Oh, is he named after that old movie?" Peter asks Tony.

Tony sighs and I laugh.

"Alright Kid. Happy will take you back home. Loki, Finn, I need you two to come to the lab."

Loki kisses the top of my head and I exit the training room and walk with Peter to where Happy is waiting.

"So do you, like, know everything?" Peter asks.

I shake my head. "No, not everything. Just a few important things."

I wave at Happy and he smiles when he sees me.

"Hey Happy!" I give him a hug.

"I guess Tony said it's time to take the kid home?" He asks me.

I nod and say goodbye to Peter. When they leave I go back inside to head to my room. Now that Peter is here, I can add more to my plan of how to beat Thanos.
