Izuku walked around the stadium looking around before his eyes finally landed on green hair that was similar to his.
Izuku: "Mom!" he yelled before running up to her, "Did you enjoy-" he nearly said before he saw the expression on his mother's face, "Mom, are you okay?" sitting next to Inko.
Inko: "I-Izuku?" she asked, turning to him, "Are... are you..." she tried asking before she stopped herself, "N-No never mind." she said before she wiped away a few tears.
Izuku: "... Is this because of the king of the hill game?" he asked, Inko slowly nodding, "Well, I can understand that," he said, rubbing the back of his head, "It was really intense." he admitted.
Inko: "I... I thought you were going to..." she strained as more tears began to fall down.
Izuku then pulled his mother into a hug.
Izuku: "You don't have to worry about me." he said, " I promise I was in no danger, not even once." he said as he pulled her closer.
For a moment Inko stayed silent before she gripped Izuku's U.A. uniform.
Inko: "I-Izuku?" she asked.
Izuku: "Yeah, Mom?" he said.
Inko: "D-Did the nightmares really stop?" she asked, causing the color to drain from Izuku's face.
Izuku: "Wh-What do you mean?" he asked, continuing to hug Inko, hiding his face.
Inko: "Well." she said, " Ever since you suddenly woke up screaming, I... I made sure to check up on you ever now and again." she explained, "B-but then there was one day when I entered your room, when I saw you sleeping. Y-You had d-duct tape covering your mouth Izuku." she said before she looked up at Izuku's face, "A... Are you okay Izuku?" she asked, tears flowing down the sides of her face.
Izuku: "I... I-I.." he stammered.
President Mic: "Will all contestants please return to the field!" he said over the intercoms.
Izuku then quickly stood.
Inko: "I-Izuku-" she tired of saying.
Izuku: "I-I need to go." he said, looking away from Inko before he quickly darted away.
Inko then sat there before she coiled inter herself, silently crying even harder than she had before.
. . .
Kirishima: " The last round's tournament where we fight one on one huh?" he said looking at the giant tournament bracket, "I'm going to stand on the stage I watch every year on T.V!" he said, getting excited.
Mina: "Was it a tournament last year?" she asked, wearing a cheer leader's outfit.
Sero: " It's different each year, but there's always a one on one competition each year." he explained," Last year it was a sports Chanbara match." he said.
Mina: "Woah, then we got pretty lucky then huh." she said.
Kirishima: "Yeah, Midoriya would've kicked our asses even harder if he had a sword." he admitted.
Midnight: "Now, let's draw lots to determine the bracket." she said, holding a ballot box, "Once the bracket is determined, we'll have the recreational games and then start!" she said. "The sixteen finalist can decide whether they want to participate or not. I'm sure that some of you want to recover your strength, now then for the first place-" she started before she got cut off by Ojiro, but Izuku wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings at the moment.
