= Hospital =

Izuku laid down in the hospital bed as he looked up at the ceiling. He had a tired look on his face as he remembered what the doctors had told him his injuries were. A few hairline fractures from his quirk, broken finger tips from pulling off Muscular's muscle fibers, and some internal bleeding from all the reckless punches he had hit Muscular with.

Izuku: "That was..." he said with a sigh, "...a disaster." he admitted,

Izuku: 'Kota got severely hurt and nearly died because I was so focused on finding Ragdoll so she wouldn't loss her quirk, come to find out she was with the other Wild, Wild, Pussy cats the entire time... God damn it.' He finished before he heard the door open.

Inko: "I-Izuku." she said as she walked in," Oh, your awake." she said, a little surprised.

Izuku: "I didn't get hurt that badly," he said, "Most of the damage was from my own quirk than any of the villains."

Inko then gave a relieved sigh.

Inko: "Th-that's good," she said, "I... I was so worried when I heard about what happened and that you were in the hospital... I... I don't know what I would've done if... if..." she stuttered as tears flowed down her cheeks.

Izuku then gave Inko a sad look before he got up from the bed and pulled Inko into a hug.

Izuku: "... I'm... I'm sorry," he said.

Inko: "What!?" she said a little shocked, "N - No Izuku you don't have-" she tried to say.

Izuku: "No, no." he said, "I've caused you a lot of grief and probably made you heart drop more times than I can count... I'm so sorry for doing so many dangerous things... you've done so much for me despite my ignorance, the least I can do is apologize to you."

Inko then began to cry, a terrible feeling welling up in her chest, why was Izuku apologizing to her, he hadn't done anything he had needed to apologize for, he was just trying to help those in need... So why was he apologizing to her, if anything she should've been the one apologizing to him for giving him such a hard life. She should've tried harder, done more to make her son happy but... she couldn't even say this to him... which made her cry more and more because of her weakness as Izuku held her close.

. . .

Izuku yawned as he finally arrived home, taking off his shoes and placing them neatly in front of the step.

Inko: "A-are you sure you're, okay?" she asked, "I-I can help you, I-if."

Izuku: "Mom, I told you I'm fine." he said, "I'm just a little tired, you should get to sleep too, I can see the bags under your eyes." he said with a small chuckle.

Inko: "Oh! I guess that is true." she said, feeling the bags herself.

Izuku's expression then became a little more serious as he looked at his mother up and down. Her eyes had bags, her clothes were disheveled, and she was slightly swaying with an exhausted daze.

Izuku: "Have you been... sleeping at all?" he asked, looking at his mother.

Inko: "O-of course I have Izuku." she said, glancing off to the side of some.

Izuku: "Mom," he said, moving a bit closer to her, "I was in the hospital for almost a week... did you sleep properly the entire time I was hospitalized?" he asked.

Inko then began twiddling her thumbs, looking around the room as she put on an awkward smile.

Inko: "Ah... um..." she said as she began to tear up some, before Izuku sighed and grabbed her by the hand, nearly dragging her to her bedroom.
