Deku: The Feared Hero (Re-Worked)

Chapter 89

(The beginning chapter is a bit of a recap plus important info, just to get the season started)

=Welcome Back=

Izuku let out a sigh as he laid on the ground, starring absent mindedly at the ceiling. It had been a few days, a bunch of questions he had to answer, and even a visitation from his mother, but they still wouldn't let him go.

After a little longer, Nezu walked back into the room, yet again, holding a notepad and the same harboring a cold expression he had all the previous time. Izuku then let out another sigh as he sat up, and leaned on the table.

Nezu: "Okay Midoriya," He said as he sat in the chair, "Let's go through this again. We've collected the information from Melissa, your friends from class 1A, your mother, and even went through your records. So let's start at the beginning."

Izuku: "Happily," he said, taking yet another breath, " When I was first in middle school, Bakugo was my bully. And though we have settled our differences, he was a little ruthless back then, " he admitted, " After a bad day with Bakugo, I ended up taking a long way home and was attacked by a sludge villain. All-Might had saved me, but something had awoken in me when I was struggling for my life."

Nezu: "I'm guessing this is where you developed your quirk then." He said as he began jotting down and connecting information, " Makes sense, that tends to be the way many late bloomers acquire their quirk sadly."

Izuku: "Quirks." he corrected. 

Nezu: "Pardon?"

Izuku: "I acquired quirks, specifically seven." he explained, " Though I don't think I should say anything about that, not without Mirio and All-Might here."

Nezu's blood than ran cold for a moment as an idea crossed his mind, but he quickly threw it away and decided to address it later.

Nezu: "Ahem, well we'll address that later, please continue."

Izuku: "If you wish," he said, " After I got my quirks, I immediately realized how.. unnatural it was. I felt like it was wrong and I should hide them so I did."

Nezu: "... Does that mean the abilities that you had shown during your time at the school.."

Izuku: "I mainly used one quirk," he admitted, " Well, I guess the byproduct of the quirk. Strength isn't exactly one of the quirks, it just happened because of the combination of them, along with the lightning I tend to use." 

Nezu then paused for a moment, calculating the possible power that Izuku could have before letting out a sigh and putting it on to the growing list of additional questions.

Nezu: "Continued," he said, Izuku giving a shrug.

Izuku: "After that I trained my quirks, to the point of breaking my body so that I would be able to control them and become a hero like I had dreamed of. Then after getting into the school, I continued to train, although with just the one quirk. And that did cause a few problems during the license exam, but that's neither here or there. Now since you should know most of everything from there, I'll tell you how I got to Nabu and disappeared from there. I had connects with people in Nabu." he said simply, " I went their every once in a while with out others knowing by using one of my other quirks. It was on a whim to see what I could do, but I had ended up making a connection with the people there. So when I got a text telling me the island was burning.."

Nezu: "You got there as fast as you could, disregarding the classroom.. quite the heroic reaction. Just the one we cultivate at our school," he said, giving a small chuckle before Izuku continued.
