Deku: The Feared Hero (Re-Worked)

Chapter 88 (Season 2 End)

It was like a sixth sense. She could tell that he was near from the moment he appeared near the wall. Close, then far, then close again. She wasn't going to miss her chance to seem him again, not after praying for months to see him again. 

She struggled at first, swimming through crowds of people like rapid waters, pushing past those who were running to the shelters, to evacuate the grounds, but she had known better. She new there was nothing to fear, not when Izuku was finally there, finally home. 

Soon she was on the wall, much to the dismay of the heroes that tried to stop her. They couldn't keep up with her, not amongst the people crashing into them, not against the distraught children crying in the street, not against her will to see her sun again. 

Once on top, she stood on the ledge and looked out at the battle field, once ridden with monster and villains, now covered in bodies and a front of heroes that stood between her and a man with white hair. It confused her at first, the scary looking person with teeth that protruded out of his cheeks, a height that towered over even the number 1 hero in his early years, and an energy that suffocated even the most battle hardened veteran.. but a mother can never forget their baby, not even if they tried. A smile then came to her face, one of relief and exhaustion. She had ran so hard, so fast that she hadn't even noticed the toll it had taken on her body. But despite her tired legs, and airless lungs, she still called out.

Inko: " Izuku!" she screamed at the top her lungs. So long and hard that she grew light headed, so light headed that she couldn't feel her legs anymore. She felt like a cloud, weightless and free. She was finally able to see Izuku. Her son once again, She couldn't be more happier.

Izuku: "Mom," he muttered, watching as Inko fell. Most of the heroes turned to look at her, her voice was loud and boisterous. She sounded so happy. 

As she fell, the heroes charged at her as fast as they could to save her. It was instinctual, like it was for most true heroes. Bakugo though was faster than all of them, nearly blowing off his gauntlets to get to her but he was too slow. 

Izuku - Gear Shift

Not even a second later, everyone was on the ground. All mobilized classes, heroes, and even the heroes that were on the wall. Simply standing in a group like a bunch of gawking civilians before they finally came to and realized where they were. 

Kaminari: "Wh-What the heck!?" he said, looking around at everyone, "Wh-What happened!?" 

Bakugo: "Stop Gawking and stay on your toes," he said said, looking around, " I don't know what happened but it was probably some quirk, keep your eyes-" he began before he was tapped on the shoulder, "What is it Round face!?" he said, slightly annoyed he was interrupted before he looked in the direction Ochaco was, all his anger draining away as it was replaced with fear.

Adjacent to the group, Izuku stood with Inko in his arms. She was fine. She was even sleeping peacefully, but Izuku was looking at her with an almost pained expression. 

Izuku: "Who did this to her?" he asked, the tone of his voice sounding like he was trying to hold something back. 

Bakugo: ".. Why the hell do you-" he began before he felt a hand on his shoulder. He then turned to the person, preparing to curse them for interrupting him again before he saw it was Star and Stripe. She has a cautious look on her face, like she was trying to control the situation the best she could against an uncontrollable variable.

Izuku: " She.. she didn't look like this before.. I know that." he said, " She was beautiful.. she was kind, and sweat.. I put her through hell... Who did this to her.." he seethed, gritting his teeth as a green electricity began bouncing off of his body.
