Episode 2b: Undefeated

Episode description: During recess, after scoring a goal against Ryōuta, Natsumi compels him to help her retrieve some plastic cones from the storage shed with Dillon. While the three search the inside for the cones that are beside the shed unnoticed, the PE teacher locks them in believing the shed to be empty. Taking advantage of Natsumi's nyctophobia, Ryōuta engages in various antics to exact revenge for his earlier defeat to his later regret.

'Enjoy!'

Outside, the students of 5-2 were having recess. As for what Ryouta's doing, he's facing against Hirikawa in soccer being the goalie.

"I'll win for sure today." Ryouta said, in confidence.

"Oh? Sounds fun." Hirikawa said.

Hirikawa got ready to make her shot as Ryouta took his stance.

"Now, come!" Ryouta said.

The other students were watching from the side as Dillon knew he had the skill to block Hirikawas' shot. Sweat dropped from his wrist as she made her move. She kicked the ball straight to the net. Ryouta wouldn't let it out of his sight.

"Not this time!" Ryouta said, jumping in to block the shot.

But Ryouta didn't react fast enough to grab it. Hirikawa was successful in beating him.

"So close." Dillon said, adjusting his wristbands.

Dillon wore red sweatbands around his wrists and on his head leaving his long brown hair visible with his new gym clothes Kairi gave to him, Ryouta, and Kouji. The ball fell to the ground as it rolled away.

"Dang it!" Ryouta said. "I almost had that!"

Hirikawa laughed in Ryouta's defeat.

"It's my win again, isn't it?" Hirikawa said.

The other boys were upset that Ryouta failed to beat Hirikawa again.

"Even Ryouta can't do it?" Asahi said in frustration.

"Everyone from the basketball club was done in too..." Kenji said.

"Is there a guy stronger than Hirikawa?" Takumi said.

Ryouta walked over to Hirikawa with the soccer ball in hand.

"Too bad! Almost. Almost!" Hirikawa teased.

Ryouta got mad as she was a bit surprised. He was always competitive against her, trying to win.

"Once more! Just one more match!" Ryouta said.

Hirikawa sighed from his competitive attitude.

"Ryouta, we don't have anymore free time." Asahi said.

"Oh no, I completely forgot." Hirikawa realized. "Tamura-sensei told me to grab the red thing from the storehouse."

"Oh, that thing?" Ryouta said.

"That thing, eh?" Asahi said.

"Are you guys referring to traffic cones?" Dillon asked.

"Yes." Asahi replied.

"Satō-kun, help me out." Hirikawa said.

"W-Why me?" Ryouta said, upset.

"I won, right? It's a punishment game." Hirikawa said, as she left.

"You could've at least told him earlier." Dillon said.

Ryouta got mad, but quickly calmed down realizing it wasn't worth it. Ryouta followed Hirikawa and Dillon followed behind to help them out. Aihara saw the three students going off to the equipment shed.
