Episode 1a: Loose

Episode description: It's Dillon's first day at a new school. As he meets new friends, Kazumi approaches Ryōuta to request his accompaniment for some after-school tasks in order to dislodge a loose but recalcitrant baby tooth.

'Hope you enjoy.'

Ryouta was talking with some of his classmates Asahi and Takumi as a young blonde haired girl approached him.

"This is amazing!" Asahi said.

"Amazing! I wanna get this." Takumi said.

"Sato-kun." Aihara said as the boys turned their heads to face her. "I have some work at the nurse's office, so will you stay after school today?"

"Yeah." Ryouta replied.

"Later." Aihara said, as she went back to her desk.

"Alone together in a classroom after school?" Takumi said.

"Isn't that suspicious?" Asahi said.

"Idiot... What're you guys thinking?" Ryouta said, frustrated about his friends getting the wrong idea.

"Not bad, Ryouta." Asahi said.

"Taking something like that so seriously is what's suspicious!" Takumi said.

"That's not how it is!" Ryouta said.

The door was opened by a boy in a black and red school uniform. It was Dillon.

"Hey, uh excuse me. Is this homeroom 5-2? Principal Hikari said this is where I'm assigned." Dillon said.

"Yes. Come on in." Aihara said.

"Okay, thank you." Dillon said as he came in.

Dillon sat at the desk next to Ryouta as he put his backpack down.

"Whoa. Who's the new kid?" Takumi said.

"He definitely doesn't look like he's from Japan." Asahi said.

"That's because I'm not. I recently transferred here from America." Dillon said.

"So, what's your name?" Asahi asked.

"My name is Dillon Dachisen." Dillon replied. "I come from the East Coast."

"Nice to meet you, Dillon." Ryouta said. "I'm Ryouta Sato."

"Nice to meet you too, Ryouta. I can tell I'm gonna make some good friends here." Dillon said.

"Yeah. Unless you end up getting pounded to a pulp by girls who don't understand you, like me years ago." Ryouta said under his breath.

"What was that?" Dillon said confused.

"Nothing." Ryouta said.

"So, uh. To change the subject, who's the blonde girl over there?" Dillon asked pointing to Aihara.

"That's Aihara Kazumi." Ryouta said. "She also wanted me to help her with some of her work she gets from the nurse's office later today."

"Oh. Is that why I heard you arguing with your friends while I was on my way in here?" Dillon said.

"Yeah. Asahi and Takumi usually torment me like the others sometimes. It's been happening for a while." Ryouta replied.

"Oh. Maybe I should tag along with you after school just to make sure it doesn't get weird." Dillon suggested. "If that helps. My brother still has some paperwork to sign for the both of us."

"Well, I guess so." Ryouta said.

Dillon looked over to where Aihara was as she was pushing her mechanical pencil against the corner of her mouth. She seems to be a bit stressed.
