Episode 3b: Library Room

Episode description: After Ryōuta and Kōuji are dragged to the library by Tsubasa, they encounter Chika who requests Ryōuta's shoulders for a vertical boost. Because she fools around, Ryōuta loses his balance and the two crash on to Kazumi. Seeing Kōuji use a chair as an aid, the two launch into an argument over who is to blame for their accident.

'Enjoy.'

In the library, students were quietly reading.

"Um, hey." Ryouta said. "Taking me to the library room during our precious break... There's nothing here but boredom."

"Don't complain to me. Even without you telling me, I know that you'd never come here on purpose." Kouji said. "The one who really wanted to come was Tsubasa-kun."

Tsubasa was reading a book on astronomy with a big smile.

"But man. The only one who's enjoying this is him." Ryouta said. "What about us?"

"Space is... Space is..." Tsubasa said. "Ryouta, Kouji! Space is amazing, isn't it?"

Ryouta and Kouji smiled to Tsubasa in agreement.

"It really is." Kouji said.

Tsubasa went back to reading.

"I once heard something..." Kouji said.

"About what?" Ryouta asked.

"Apparently there's manga in here." Kouji said.

"That's some very welcome information." Ryouta said.

"Should we split up and search for it?" Kouji said.

"Should we..." Ryouta said.

The two boys stood up and went to look for the manga.

"Oh, yeah. Where are Dillon and Aiden?" Kouji asked.

"They're in here too. They're looking for some books on the Morphin' Grid." Ryouta said. "If we can't find the manga, we'll look for Dillon instead."

"Okay. I think Principal Hikari said something about telling them to look for that stuff on past ranger teams too." Kouji said.

(Meanwhile...)

Chika was trying to reach a book on a high shelf, but wasn't tall enough to reach.

"It's no use. I can't reach it." Chika said.

"Chika-chan, I can't find a stool after all!" Haruka said.

"Really?" Chika said.

She gave up and walked out of the section of the library with Haruka.

"Where did it go?" Chika wondered.

"Hey, how about we give up and go to the gym?" Haruka suggested. "Yūki-chan's playing volleyball."

Chika and Haruka then stopped to see Ryouta and Kouji walking by.

"It's strange seeing that hedgehog in the library room..." Chika said, as she got an idea.

"Hey! Hey! Is there really manga here?" Ryouta said.

"The information's from a reliable source." Kouji said.

"Oh, wait. I see Dillon and Aiden." Ryouta said. "Hey, guys."

"Hey, Ryouta." Dillon said.

Dillon and Aiden have a couple of books on previous ranger teams to learn about some Power Ranger history.

"What are you guys doing here?" Aiden said.

"We got dragged here thanks to Tsubasa-kun." Kouji explained. "We were looking for manga but since we bumped into you guys, we figured we'd look through those ranger history books with you."
