Episode 13: Pinky Promise (Part 1)

Episode description: Ryōuta dreams of a scene from his past involving a promise of marriage between him and Chika before waking up late and dashing to school. However, his euphoric morning is quickly extinguished when Yūki spreads the news of Chika having dreamt that same morning of a promise she made to Ryouta after he wet the bed when in kindergarten.

'This is a full episode since it's the last one of the anime. So it will be divided into two parts. Unfortunately, there won't be a Ranger battle in this episode, but I will make up for it later on. Hope you enjoy.'

(Flashback to Kindergarten with Ryouta and Chika)

Ryouta and Chika were playing with blocks together.

"Hey, Ryouta!" Chika said, getting his attention.

"Huh?" Ryouta said, turning to her.

"Are we going to get married when we're older?" Chika asked.

Ryouta blinked in confusion.

"Aren't we?" Ryouta said, putting down the block that was in his hand on the floor.

"Huh? Are we?" Chika said.

"We're not?" Ryouta said, confused.

"Then we will!" Chika said, smiling.

"Then it's a promise!" Ryouta said, agreeing with her.

Ryouta and Chika formed their pinky promise to get married when they're old enough.

"Promise!" Ryouta and Chika said, in unison.

(End of dream)

Ryouta woke up from his dream in his room. He wondered why he dreamt that. He then looked at the time and saw he was going to be late for school. After eating breakfast with his family and getting dressed, he rushed off to school hoping he won't be that late. It was all snowy and slippery out since it was winter.

(Meanwhile at school...)

Kouji was building a house of card as carefully as he could. Tsubasa, Sora, Morro, Asahi, Takumi, Kenji, and Jun were watching him do so.

"Okay. Don't touch it." Kouji said, as he backed away. "Let's do this."

"Be careful, Kouji." Morro said.

Kouji nodded, and gripped the cloth from below the cards.

"I'm the Ninja of Lightning! The Yellow Ranger! Surprise!" Kouji yelled out, pulling the cloth off from underneath the cards.

The cards toppled a little, but rebalanced itself within seconds. Kouji smirked. The guys were very surprised that Kouji pulled it off.

"Kouji, you're amazing!" Tsubasa said, smiling.

"Well done, Kouji." Sora said, very proud of him.

The guys then chanted his name in his triumph. Megumi, Hirikawa, and Haruka overheard this, while they were reading a book at the tomboy's desk.

"What?" Megumi said, confused.

"What's that about?" Hirikawa said, confused.

"Morning!" Yuki said, walking in with a happy smile.

It has been two days since Chika and Yuki were suspended for beating Morro, Ryouta, and Dillon.

"Morning!" Megumi said, greeting Yuki.

"Hey, Yuki. Welcome back." Stella said, from her desk next to Dillon.

"What's going on over there?" Yuki asked.

"I wonder..." Hirikawa said, confused.

The guys kept chanting Kouji's name.

"Well, well. Calm down you guys." Kouji said. "How troublesome..."
