Episode 9b: Fashion

Episode description: One day when Kōuji is sick from a cold, Yūki comes to school dressed nicely after having visited a beauty salon looking for praise from her classmates.

In class, Ryouta and Tsubasa were chatting along with Dillon.

"And so, that's why he's called Papa!" Ryouta said.

"That really is gross." Tsubasa said.

"As a bonus, he turns the world's crows completely white!" Ryouta said.

"Damn. That's crazy." Dillon said.

"Speaking of which, where's Kouji?" Ryouta said, realizing.

"Come to think of it, I haven't seen him all day." Dillon said.

"He's not at school today." Tsubasa replied. That's rare, isn't it? Kouji's got a cold."

"Oh." Ryouta said.

"Oh man. This might be bad." Dillon said. "If Ennard sends down another monster to face us, we might not be able to form the megazord."

"You're right, Dillon." Ryouta said, in agreement.

"Really, Yuki-chan?" Chika said.

Dillon turned to see what the girls were talking about with Yuki.

"Yeah! I was taken there for my first time!" Yuki replied.

"Nice... I've never been to a beauty parlor before!" Haruka said.

"I think I'll just keep having my mom cut my hair." Chika said.

"I go to the same place as my dad!" Hirikawa said. "They have a bunch of manga!"

Yuki looked up at how her hair was cut.

"So, what do you girls think?" Yuki asked.

"It really suits you and looks good, Yuki-chan!" Chika responded.

"That's what it means to dress up!" Haruka said.

Hirikawa laughed a bit as Chika spoke.

"And also, your clothes..." Chika said. "Isn't it that place's new product?"

Yuki's clothes were of a brown shirt sleeve sweater shirt with a white long sleeve button down shirt layered underneath, a red bowtie around her neck, a tan skirt, gray socks, and brown shoes.

"It really is! I've seen it in a magazine before!" Haruka said.

Hirikawa laughed in realization.

"You really can tell, after all?" Yuki said, spinning a bit. "We already passed fifth grade, so my mom said I have to dress up a bit more. Does it look good?"

"Yeah! It's like you're an older sister!" Chika replied.

"Thanks, Chika-chan!" Yuki said.

"I want to dress up like that too!" Haruka said, in jealousy.

Hirikawa laughed again.

"Jeez, saying something like that..." Yuki said. "Well, I have been 5-2's fashion leader sometimes..."

Ryouta and Kouji laughed as Yuki turned to hear what they were talking about.

"And that's how the unbelievable development happened!" Ryouta said.

Tsubasa nodded as Dillon was a bit confused.

"That's right! I have to teach the guys too!" Yuki said, in confidence as she walked over to the guys.
