Episode 5b: Shooting Star

Episode description: At night while waiting for a meteor shower, Ryōuta falls asleep and demonstrates his ability to force people to fall asleep.

It's a dark and warm night. The students of class 5-2 have prepared for the meteor shower which will happen soon. Sora, Kairi, and Aiden came to watch over the students for adult supervision. Tsubasa was really excited since he studied a lot on astrology.

"Ryouta, Kouji. Shooting stars are amazing, aren't they?" Tsubasa said.

Ryouta and Kouji smiled in agreement. Tsubasa laughed as he turned back to looking up at the sky.

"A limitless universe..." Tsubasa said.

"Thanks for coming along, Sora." Dillon said. "Meteor showers are definitely something to watch together at night."

"Yeah. It's definitely something." Sora said. "And the prism did fall from space after all."

"I remember when me and Sora first watched meteor showers together." Kairi said, resting her head on Sora's shoulder.

Ryouta stretched his arm and yawned.

"You sleepy?" Kouji asked.

Ryouta laid down as he pulled a blanket over his shoulders and fell asleep.

"Hey! Stick with us just a bit longer!" Chika said, trying to keep Ryouta from sleeping. "You won't be able to see the shooting stars."

Ryouta turned to his side as he spoke one last time, before falling asleep.

"If you see it, wake me." Ryouta said, as he fell asleep.

Yuki and Megumi looked over to see Ryouta fell asleep.

"He fell asleep already? That's fast!" Yuki said.

"You're right..." Megumi said.

"Dang. Is Ryouta always a heavy sleeper?" Dillon asked.

"Yup. One time Aihara woke him up by biting his ear." Sora replied.

"Ryouta, that guy..." Chika said.

"Maybe we should let him sleep. It is late after all." Aiden said. "I'm sure we can wake him up when the meteor shower starts."

"If you sleep here, you'll catch a cold." Kouji said, trying to wake Ryouta up.

Chika tried to warn Kouji about waking up Ryouta, but it was too late as he gripped Kouji's wrist. He was pulled in as Ryouta was still asleep doing something to Kouji.

"Stop! Ryouta-" Kouji said, muffled from under the blanket. "Hey, Ryouta. Ryouta! Ryouta! Ryouta!"

Kouji stopped fighting for some reason. Did something bad happen to him?

"What just happened to him, Sora?" Aiden said.

"I think... Aww man." Sora said.

Yuki and Megumi got worried about what happened to Kouji.

"Was he eaten?" Yuki said worried.

Kouji was thrown back out as Yuki yelped in fear. Kouji was asleep.

"He's sleeping." Megumi said.

"What? What's happening?" Yuki said, confused.

"I don't know." Megumi said.

"Just as I figured." Sora said. "Ryouta knocked Kouji out to sleep."

"Why'd you say it like that?" Dillon asked.

"Ryouta has done this before." Kairi said. "It's best to keep away from him."

"Good to know." Aiden said.
