Episode 6b: Sudden Storm

Episode description: After school one day, a game of dodgeball of boys against girls is interrupted by a sudden rainstorm that forces the children to take cover. However, they decide to continue to play; even Kazumi joins in.

The students of class 5-2 were at the park, playing some dodgeball. Sora, Kairi, and Aiden were watching from the side as adult supervision. Chika threw the ball to Ryouta as he caught it. Ryouta threw it over to Megumi as she got scared she was gonna get hurt. Thankfully Hirikawa caught it.

"Thanks, Natsumi-chan!" Megumi said, relieved.

Hirikawa laughed as she spoke.

"Sato-kun's throw is weak, that's all!" Hirikawa said.

Ryouta felt a dagger plunge in his back for being called weak for his throw. He laughed a little to hide the pain as he spoke.

"I see that you don't understand. I'm always at 30% of my true-" Ryouta said, as he got hit in the face from Hirikawa's throw.

"Ryouta!" Dillon said, worried.

"Got him!" Hirikawa said, in triumph.

"You alive, Ryouta?" Kouji said.

"You didn't even call time before you started blabbering." Tsubasa said.

"He just got hit in the face with a dodgeball." Dillon said. "Sora, you got a healing elixir?"

"Don't worry, I always carry one or two on me incase of emergency." Sora said, as he went over to Ryouta.

"Ugh. Thanks, Sora." Ryouta said, as he sat up.

Sora handed Ryouta a healing elixir as he drank it, to get rid of the mark on his face.

"It'd be nice if Kazumi-chan played too." Chika said, looking over to Aihara.

Aihara was reading a book on the swings.

"She said she has an injured abdomen from before." Yuki said.

Aihara looked up to see some dark clouds roll in. It was gonna rain. Chika saw the dark clouds in the sky move in with a worried look.

"What's wrong?" Hirikawa asked.

"Looks like there's going to be a storm, why don't we go home for today?" Chika said.

"This definitely seems like one." Kouji said.

"It looks like it's going to be bad." Tsubasa said.

"We'd better take cover until it dies back down." Sora said.

"What're you guys talking about? It'll be fine!" Ryouta said, with the ball in his hands. "More importantly, Hirikawa, let's continue the fight!"

Ryouta then looked up to see rain has started.

"Aghh! Take cover!" Dillon said, running to shelter in panic.

Everyone else ran to the gazebo to keep dry.

"Go under the roof over there!" Kouji said.

"I'm getting wet!" Megumi said.

Ryouta ran another way to the slide.

"There's more than one place to get out of the rain!" Ryouta said.

By the time he made it, he saw Aihara had already taken it for shelter.

"Sorry, it's full." Aihara said.

"Full? Just make a little more space for me-" Ryouta said, as he slipped and fell.
